In terms of Lange coming and Paratici staying it looks like recruitment by committee with Ange having the ultimate say in who we sign, as proposed players have to fit his system. Lange is supposedly good at working with academies, identifying talent with data and negotiating the deals for players the manager wants. We will see.

@@mavis1108 it's supposed to but many times it doesn't because of different ideas and ego. Lange had to move on from Villa because Monchi has his own ideas. We've let go Gabanini, Baldini, Mitchell and many others linked to recruitment because of imho a difference in ideas.

A best in class data function isn't a magic bullet, it's about improving the quality of decision making. Data likely won't identify the next Ndombele, but it will probably protect us from signing the next Ndombele. Preventing bad decisions is just as, maybe more, important, than selecting the best decision.
*WHY* would they feel the need for this guy when Spurs' recent signings have already been great, and their various teams are all going gangbusters?

Good that Paratici is sticking around, he has made some good signings for the club, Udogie, Romero, Porro, Bentancur, Kulu, Bissouma, Sarr and I'm sure he had a hand in getting Vicario to the club, apart from Bentancur the rest are regular starters under Ange and top of the league so far so not a bad job done by Paratici.

As in everything, keep it simple to start with. Two quality CBs in January. Then wait for next summer to allow Ange one full season and proper full reset.
Two center backs and a left winger and we should be okay until the summer
We will need a Midfielder with Bissouma and Sarr being away in January and Hojbjerg wanting to leave, Bentancur will take time to get back to full fitness, one CB, Midfielder and another attacking player in January will be needed.

While there are quite a few very good players who he’s brought through there’s quite a bit of average players also but let’s see how it goes.
That’s with every sporting director tho, ur gonna have duds and ur gonna have strokes of brilliance. It’s just how it goes. The improvement at Villa looks promising.

Every player Paratici signed were theoretically available to Lange while he was at Villa. Paratici's signings have sculpted our unbeaten start under Ange. If he stays, we're in great hands. If he doesn't, we're still in good hands with Lange. He has a good track-record of signings which have raised the level of each club he's worked under, especially Villa after Grealish left.

Hey don't write him off just yet, we will see what kind of signings he makes and what impact they have. Not right to judge him just yet. Also Paratici is still an advisor so it's alright.
@abdulrafay9872 How long will Paratici stay though if you install someone there already? Paratici will probably stay till his Fifa ban finishes and off he goes. I know I would.
@@stanleyliu2450 well he probably will when his ban is over but he is here for now. That's all that matters. By the time he leaves we will already know what kind of recruitment Johan is capable of
Ange should double up as both Scout and Manager. We don't want newbies meddling and screwing up the rhythm, Spurs are already in. Ange needs a full season to assess his team without newbies' interference.
Hopefully, the newbies behave and let Ange do his thing 🙏🏼
January we should go after a new cb and use that kane money and go eze who can play on the left or cam if madders gets injured adding quality depth and not just numbers
Ange is very big on player data ! Therefore Lange fits perfectly. Another position that fits philosophy of club. Finally a plan !! Bout time 🕰️
