It's so great to see an arcade at the Danbury Fair again! I went to their old one all the time when I was a kid and was heartbroken when it closed.
Hey. There I am. You passed behind me at one of the claw machines.
wow claw machines for days! can't wait to go
Luigi’s mansion arcade is here
What's up with the "time play" signs at the pinball machines? Do the flippers go dead if your game is lasting too long??
Haha, no. Time Play at Round1 is basically a special card you can swipe that gives you unlimited game play for a set period of time (usually like 60 or 90 minutes). As long as time play is active, you swipe the card and get a credit on the game. This only works on non-redemption stuff, so you can't just keep swiping it on claw machines and getting prizes. But if you get it for rhythm games, shooters, racers, or pinball, you can usually come out ahead.
@@S1ckH4ndsRBN Ah ok, that’s much better 😂 I was imagining an executive meeting at Round 1 where someone was arguing, “The pricing on pinball is ok, but if Keith Elwin shows up, we’re gonna go broke!”
It's actually the opposite, you get a 60 or 90 minute card and can crank out free plays for score the whole time.
Can you cruise the ticket dome and see if there are 200/500ticket rolls in there?
Unfortunately I'm not local, so it might be a while before I'm back up that way again. But I'm guessing they probably do; my son was playing Tons of Tickets on opening day, and he said that machine had ticket rolls up to 1000 in it. His best pull he got two 300 ticket rolls in one try!
WTFFFF, SINCE WHEN DID THEY BUILD THIS
It's been under construction for a while, but had run into some permitting issues with the city. Glad to see they were finally able to resolve it all and get it open!
