Terry turned in front of trying to intimidate the intimidator It’s as plain as the nose on the nose on your face Dale did the same thing all the drivers did Dale just done better
I havent been able to watch a race since the day we lost my hero! I dont guess I ever will! We lost the best driver to ever do it that day! I miss my hero!!
These are great moments, but being a fan since 1984 and going to 12-14 races a year, listening to his radio will tell you he has done many things in a race car that I have witnessed that I would put above most of these. For example, can't remember exact year, I think about 84, 85 at Bristol, he lost the power steering belt on about the 10th lap. Dale had done lost a lap, got it back, had the whole car banged up, finally with about 30 laps to go dale moves in to 2nd place. Cale yarbourgh is leading, caution comes out, Richard Childress hollers at dale, and said dale, cale said on the radio when this race started we wouldn't have to worry about the 3 car today, you didn't say nothing about it so we didn't either,, I was just seeing if everything is OK for the last 25 laps. Dale came on the radio and said. I guess you and cake is about to find out. When the green dropped, dale went by cale like he was tied to a tree, cale got out of the car and said, I don't know how a man can run 490 laps here with no power steering much less win, but I guess if I had to guess of somebody who could it would be dale. Seen dale at the coke 600(92?) Get in a wreck on the 2nd lap. He went 8 laps down, he came back out with no front end(hood, fenders, bumper). And passed the leaders 4 times and made up 4 laps. Seen him blow up at Charlotte, get out of the car, move his crew out of his way. Tare the engine apart. Fix it, get back in and finish the race 200 laps down.
In 87, if not for an ignition wire getting caught under the valve cover when it was tightened down, he would have won 7 in a row, seeing as how he was dominating Atlanta before the ignition wire shorted out.
I miss dale, my wife and I were at the one where he came from the middle of the pack to win it was awesome the crowd was screaming so loud it drowned out the sounded the cars coming by and they are loud I’ll never forget it.
I liked when dale said the wheels are still on that thing and he asked the tow truck people to see if the car starts and when he said give the car I got to earn more points for the Winston cup race

Everybody points to the pass in the grass as one of Dale’s greatest examples of being a great driver. I, however, think the save in the 2001 IROC@Daytona was the greatest display of his driving skill ever. The man makes turn 1 at 189mph, in the damn grass, all the way to the start of turn 2! Please, show me any other driver, except maybe Kyle Busch, that could do that.
Real racers know bumping a car into a corner is dirty, anyone can do it, Terry bumped him in, Earnhardt showed he was faster bumped/moved Terry on exit of turn 4, way different then just dumping a guy. The move was fair.
Ill never forget Pocono qualifying the time Dale Jarret broke his leg at Pocono after qualifying I liked Dale Jarret and we went to the garage Earnhardt fans loved it that Jarret broke his and Earnhardt signed My Dale Jarret car, not his car because of the way his fans acted
You need to show more than just one pass in the grass. On that road course pass in the grass moved him up two spots . The dirt was actually where grass would been if it was grass
Never was a fan a the guy. Pulled against him always. He generated interest for sure. Bill Elliott, Rick Mears, Al Unser Jr., Nigel Mansel all raced with class, fair, with regard for safety of themselves and others. Big E. #3...not so much.
There'll never be another one like him. Ever.
The day dale died nascar was over for me.lov his son,but all i could do is cry.ga.gal.❤❤❤
Dale Earnhardt's captivating presence during a blizzard in the late 70s grabbed both my brother's and my attention.
Terry turned in front of trying to intimidate the intimidator
It’s as plain as the nose on the nose on your face
Dale did the same thing all the drivers did
Dale just done better
The Man. The Myth. The Legend. The Intimidator. Forever in our❤🏁🏁🏁
Nobody could Drive like he could Rest in Peace Love you Brother
Great stuff ❤
I havent been able to watch a race since the day we lost my hero! I dont guess I ever will! We lost the best driver to ever do it that day! I miss my hero!!
Dale was the heart and soul of NASCAR. When he died the racing became milk toast. I love that old man.
Watching Big E pull the Bud PR man out of the way and then yank his son out of his car at his first win should be number 1
Even though we lost him that day, Mr Earnhardt's opus was a DEI 1-2-3 finish. That was one of his greatest moments, from a new fan's perspective.

Dale earnhardt the all time greatest most feared most badass and greatest nascar driver long live the intimidator
I miss dale, my wife and I were at the one where he came from the middle of the pack to win it was awesome the crowd was screaming so loud it drowned out the sounded the cars coming by and they are loud I’ll never forget it.

Davey Allison in the 1989 daytona 500 flipped and finished. Mark Martin back end raised up in the 1991 winston 500 at Talladega and finished.
Damn I miss this dude! 😫

Todos los aficionados le exttañamos; pero el INTIMIDATOR no murió en aquella DAYTONA 500 de 2001, tan sólo nos lleva una vuelta de ventaja.
Great video. Only One. RIP
And my little girl cried when she found out that he had died in the wreck!!!
So did alot of other people!😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
When Dale got back in that car it flipped end-over-end jumped out of the ambulance and drove into the sunset that was a great memory
My hero and the things he could do-Dale Earnhardt
He really was the fucking man
Damn I remember this show. Helped me learn a lot about the sport. Really miss speed
Jimmy Spencer, the only NASCAR driver to have big enough stones to mess with Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Dale Earnhardt is the Wayne Gretzky of NASCAR.... never will be one better
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT - TOMMYEBUNN !!!!!!!!! GOD TOOK DALE SR., CUZ HE NEEDED A DRIVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
More like The Stone Cold minus The Cussing & Bird flips
Next to King Richard, ¿No?
That's my guy . !
RIP 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Dale drove exactly like all the other drivers did
He just done it better . Terry was trying to intimidate the intimidator . The video even shows it
Their several pass in the grass episodes . One was even on a road course
Hell yeah dale
I'm shocked they didn't include the Michigan IROC race, banging doors with his son to the finish.
Earnhardt the best by far
Real racers know bumping a car into a corner is dirty, anyone can do it, Terry bumped him in, Earnhardt showed he was faster bumped/moved Terry on exit of turn 4, way different then just dumping a guy. The move was fair.
That car still got all the wheels on it. Lol
Ya common it’s still drivable lol
Btw. Jr. Won 4 in a row. Soo cool
At the same track, never in a row at 4 different tracks 4 weeks in a row.
for me, the best ever......
Rattled his cage? Hell, he bent the cage....
Even if you are an Earnhardt fan we all know he meant to wreck Terry Labonte to win at Bristol and that's why we loved him right there
That's what we call the Bump n run but i think he didnt want to wreck him just move him out of the way plus Terry bumped him first
C'mon, dude, he didn't want to wreck him...he just wanted to rattle his cage a little. X3
I'm an Earnhardt fan and rubbing is racing Dale did no wrong
Terry backed into him from what I seen.
Terry had four new tires . He should've drove around.. He decided to poke the Bear .
NASCAR DIED WHEN EARNHARDT SR. DIED!!!
Video even shows he lost the lead for a few seconds
You need to show more than just one pass in the grass. On that road course pass in the grass moved him up two spots . The dirt was actually where grass would been if it was grass
Dale also saved an IROC car at Daytona, making a huge pass through the grass in turn one
Dale is like the Ayrton Senna of NASCAR
Dale was a fan of Ayrton Senna…
I've done it on sim racing. (pass in the grass)
Pit maneuver for police
Invented by Dale & Terry. Lol
Bill Elliott wasn't the sweat on Earnhardt's nuts
😂
10:05 What? He got booed all the time. It wasn't universal love. He had a lot of fans, for sure. But let's not rewrite history here.
Dale hate DNF's!
That's just racin
Sunday worship
3
NASCAR has NEVER BEEN THE SAME SINCE!!!
Kyle bush reminds me of Dale Earnhardt
H always had a problem that kept him from winning the Daytona except one time
His last time
Could you imagine if Trump had grown up poor
Never was a fan a the guy. Pulled against him always. He generated interest for sure. Bill Elliott, Rick Mears, Al Unser Jr., Nigel Mansel all raced with class, fair, with regard for safety of themselves and others. Big E. #3...not so much.
Earnhardt broke a vertebrae in his neck in Atlanta in 1999.
