P.S. I forgot to mention that the vacuum bags with the pump are amazing to travel with. You can pack so much more with these 𝘣𝘶𝘵, they won’t make your luggage lighter if you are checking bags. I found that out the hard way 🤦🏼♀️

Welcome back! I'm really enjoying this long chatty vlog. So nice to hear additional details about your trip.
You really would love Italy in the fall, especially late fall is a great time to enjoy the harvests of wine and olive oil. If you start in Rome, I’d recommend traveling north as you go, to the hill towns of Umbria (Assisi is easy by train), on to Florence (visit some wineries in the Tuscan countryside like Montepulciano) and then you can go northeast to do Bologna and Venice as easy daytrips from Florence-it’s only about 2 hours to Venice by the fast train OR you can go spend a few days up in Venice. Don’t sleep on Verona if you’re on your way to Venice, the town is incredible even if you dont do any of the Romeo and Juliet stuff-the shopping is fabulous there and the town is stunning. I kind of think Puglia, Lecce, and Matera in the southeast are are different trip, but that’s just my hot take.
Oh my, you are so brave putting on your make up wearing your new white blouse! I always manage to get something on my clothes so I now only wear my robe to get ready.

i have been to Venice, Florence, Pisa, and Rome, and i love Florence. I love the leather goods good. All the cities had their own charms, but Florence to me was not as busy and hectic as Rome...
I visited Florence in mid March and it was perfect. No lines, it was about 55-60 every day. We got lots of sightseeing in over 10 days between Florence and the Tuscany region. Highly recommend that time of year.

I was in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago and stayed at the Paris hotel. I was surprised at how many people would crowd around the Vanderpump restaurant just to take photos of the place. It's a lovely place for sure.

Vanderpump looks incredible -- wish we had one here in Los Angeles. You will likely want to visit Venice next time -- like Florence, you step into another world and time there. If you go to Sicily, you might want to check out Sciacca. It is similar to Positano, and while we are at it, if you go to Rome, you might want to make a point to go to Positano -- and maybe Capri, magical, both of them.

My friend and I are actually doing a Florence and Bologna in late September. Both of us have been to Florence before but never to Bologna and I hear really good things about it especially for the food.

I used a space saver for my 2 wk trip winter Europe and then Maldives all in my carry on. Unfortunately, coming back they weighed my bag and I did end of up checking it bc it was over weight 😞
