Amazing how professional Momoko is - obviously suffered some fatigue but battled through it and didn't let up until the house lights down and back stage.

They truly care and love their fans! They love us just as much as we love them. Just wanted to say how beautiful that is🥰 Moa looking after her lil sister❤❤❤

I don't know how to feel about this. I don't want them to become like in k-pop where idols are forced to perform no matter how bad they feel and we constantly see them getting injured or collapsing. Su and Moa have been in BM like half of their lives. Momo definitely doesn't have the same experience performing cardio routines on stage for 14 years. I also feel like because Momo is the new one, she has this self-imposed pressure of not interfering with BM's normal activities. I see this in sports and athletes all the time.
@@i.shuuya3231 everyone has had to go to work feeling a little down, sad, or under the weather at one point, from your average construction worker, to performer, to athletes, to fast food workers, etc. This isnt anything new. They kept the original choreography for Gimme Chocolate and it's so obvious how simple it is (since they were so young) compared to the choreography from their more recent songs.
Watching this is great because I think our venue is a bit bigger. I think they should do a break where they talk to fans so they can cool down and recoup. I see K-pop groups do it often because it’s so much physical effort. That’s like an hour of hitt cardio while singing! Just cray - speaks to their conditioning for aure
I don't want to sound like I have the answer to it all, but I really don't think there is any reason for Moa & Momo to be headbanging that fiercely on the bridge. I appreciate them staying true to the choreography, but for smaller shows around the world, they need to substitute something for that section. Try to headbang like that for 15 seconds and you will realize it hurts every part of your brain.
@Joshinmore Terrific job for capturing this whole unfortunate incident. No one would've believe it if you didn't capture her collapse and the extended intermission. Were they going to take a break there anyway, as they seemed to be walking off after the song? Moa was on the right side, but suddenly she and Su turned around to help Momo. Momo must have called out for help. I've always wondered how the girls can sustain such exertion pretty much non-stop for the whole concert. The ones in Japan are even longer. This is the first time I've seen a video that actually captures they had any sort of struggle. I don't understand how Momo could finish the last 1/3 of the song still banging and bouncing around, and held on until right after the curtains before collapsing. This is dedication! Also kdos to Moa for being so alert!
These short Babymetal shows are some of the best and most energetic in the rock/metal scene, hit after hit. The whole band deserves praise, with a special shoutout to drummer Anthony Barone, who's an absolute beast. Momoko faced a setback, but she's already recovered-she's a warrior
I wonder if they prefer the huge venues they get in Japan, or the more small concerts like this? I can see both having their appeals from a performer's perspective.
these poor girls have to do this almost every night. So exhausting just watching them. I hope their handlers are taking care of their health n' bodies. This is very hard on the body to do every night. They must be sore as hell. Doesn't matter that they are young, this is far harder then you think to do these routines
During the headbanging she got dizzy. The moment she stopped and her movements slowed down was when it happened, just after the listed timestamp. You also notice again at 49:19 that she is struggling a little bit and has to slow it down. She did very well to recover and continue. This is the reason for the very long break before RoR.
Yes, he does!! I don't listen to this band at all, and I was passing this video up, but the drummer caught my attention. I did NOT expect 16th note double-bass and a variety of blastbeats at 220bpm. He can easily play in most deathmetal/blackmetal bands these days.
I am so happy and appreciative for this video. I was supposed to do their production and stage in Nashville but my job screwed me over, sent me out of town, left me stranded, suspended me for something I did not do, then fired me because I went to the top. So of course I missed the show. Thank you Joshinmore. I finally get to see them live, even if it is not in person.
