Ok. I think I may have perfected the perfect basic tank with this new design.

Ok truth talk: I haven’t truly loved a tank since like the 2010s when padded cami’s were all the rage. Then workout fashion went into this neon colored motivational muscle tank phase (that yes I def contributed to haha) and from there tanks kinda died for me as crop tops completely took over the world.
Since it’s been 10 years since the glory days of the fitness tank top, I thought it was appropriate to attempt to reinvent the basic women’s ribbed tank.
Okay for real, I did not expect to be wearing this @popflexactive ✨ Not your typical tank✨ all the time! I really love how it hugs my body…but like not in a clinging-to-my-bloat-kinda-way, but rather a lays-perfectly-on-top-of-my-curves-kinda-way! The fabric is just so silky.
It’s such a chill layering piece that’s perfect over a sports bra to give you coverage, while still remaining breathable.
I’m wearing an extra small even though on the size chart I measure a small. This is because I like my tops extra fitted. But this is totally my personal preference. This style runs true to size so I’d prob recommend you get your normal size.
♥️Cassey
Ps: This tank is avail now. Oh and if you wanna see it on diff bodies go on the @popflexactive ig! There’s a full try on video! - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
As someone with a large natural chest, the first thing I always look for in clothing is "can I wear a bra with it." Unfortunately, this tank would show bra straps but it's so cute otherwise.
Yes, I'm afraid you may only wear a specific type of sports bra with it
Zip up cross back sports bra with thin straps from old navy, they also have this same shirt for $15
It would also show half my boob off too, the armholes are always way too big.
My thoughts exactly. I HATE strapless or convertible bras. No way 🚫 am I going to inflict one on myself for a daily outfit. Not to mention the cut out straps won’t be flattering to ppl who don’t have perfect tiny upper body. I got some fat armpits 🤷🏻♀️
same!! i hate when i find a cute top that is only for a or b cup people. lowkey uninclusive.

Exactly. She only makes clothes for herself and her own perfect figure, completely disregarding the needs of the rest of us.
most of the time she takes suggestions from fans and fixes it for other people this is literally just her own opinion about it 💀 just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you have to hate in her
It would be even greater if it came with a built in bra 🙌🏼 especially in the summer, not having to wear an extra layer makes a huge difference. It’d be great if you could incorporate this in the next iteration 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Yes!!!
Uniqlo has it!
@@mantolinez omg I literally have a dress with the same material from Uniqlo loll

I love your clothes, but as a bigger woman, what I hate about tanks is my bra straps or any part of my bra showing. The other part is my chest is bigger and lower. High necklines with no cleavage or chest showing makes them look even more saggy and sometimes even smaller. I do like the sheer chest though so you have the high neckline still but don’t look like you have small flat and saggy boobs.
I prefer the original cut. I hate necklines that go up too high.
But this is a great choice for those who dislike tanks for the same reason as you and I agree they do tend to be boring if you're looking at conventional clothing lines only
Same I have ADHD and those necklines make me feel like I’m choking

Basic tanks do actually project personality--"I don't care if you're looking." For some people, it's frump. For others, it's freedom.
ok but the chicken wing sideboob situation is gonna be hellish

Wait why? Because of the open back?
@@corbinbrier0 probably
I actually like quite a lot of the qualities that you mentioned about the “basic” tank. I hate key hole backs and when the straps in the front scoop in too far because it makes my shoulders look wider
I love tanks too, especially for ease, why we have to look aesthetic all the time? 😂 no way
Okay, this product isn’t for you then!
Cool, don't buy it then? 😭😭

I like it for pj or coffee shop date even as a workout tank but yeah ba strap will show, I olive green th top would be cute
This was so passive aggressive lol
I am just worried about what bra to wear....if you have a bigger bust it isn't going to look as seamless. But awesome idea!
Yeah big boobs with no bra wouldnt work. Most people forget that bra straps for heavy boobs should be thicker then for tiny boobs and you cant hide it in this.
Racerback would work (front clip )
Yeah I was thinking the same thing I want to be able to wear a bra because of my cup size. It looks great if you're probably a being under c cup I hope that she makes them a little bit longer for bigger cup size or a built in bra.
As one with larger breast the high neckline.. was a no for me. Which sucks because I love her work but high neck lines often times make my breast appear extremely long and saggy
Was just thinking the same thing…her designs are unique and cute but a lot of them only take her body type into account. I’m tall with a large bust and some of her stuff would look bad on me, or she complains about design “flaws” that aren’t flaws if you don’t have her body type.
*proceeds to completely eliminate the ability to hide your bra straps*
honestly i don’t understand why so many people want to hide their bra strap. what’s there to be embarrassed about, if you don’t mind me asking?

As someone with sensory issues relating to necklines i would have difficulty breathing due to the neckline as well as constantly pulling it down to be able to breathe normally
This is actually my dream tanktop!! So flattering and elevated from the basic. Everything you added makes it so much more flattering
I have extra skin under my armpit and usually when I wear ones like yours, they irritate the skin, that is why I like the straight straps more. And as some who has back acne, the ones that cover my back are better
I’m sure you already know this but covering your back acne makes it worse you need to let the skin breathe, especially with working out and sweat. Exfoliating might help you if you don’t already or if it’s too painful you try a medicated cream for acne
Then keep buying those
@@destinyc7801 Very true! I still have a bacne but it's been getting better since I started taking care of it. I've learned to not be afraid of my back being exposed, bc I know it's giving my skin a chance to breath. Especially when working out.
yep I'm in the same boat as you
ok??
this is one of the only products of yours i've seen where everyone absolutely despises it 😭😭
It’s because it isn’t practical.
1 - reveals bra strap
2 - narrow neckline makes shoulders appear broader
3 - unable to tuck into trousers (pants in US) or skirts etc

I’m sure people have designed this top before. I’ve seen it somewhere. The “basic” tank is great for people who wear bras because it can help hide the strap. Yours is great reinvention
The way your redesigned tank top is how I draw tank tops😭
I don’t think this is a replacement for basic tanks. It’s something completely different, the only thing they have in common is that both are sleeveless but imo they serve completely different purposes.
You are actually right, she kinda just reverse engineered a muscle tee with a few fancy touches. No hate to her though.
Btw muscle tee's are more affordable. I totally get supporting businesses but not everyone can afford clothes that cost this much that are all just rehashed versions of widely produced clothes.

Dang I’m worried how this will look on girls who have broader shoulders like me- 😭 but the back is to die for
I think it would look good on you since the neckline is more like a halter top
@@vannesashelly9118 I’m not sure. Showing off the frontal neck area as well as, making the straps more outer instead of inner like this design makes broader shoulders look more balanced than top heavy. Necklines like vnecks, off the shoulder, scoop, or jewel are good examples.
Broad shoulder women are hot asf wear the shit out of it bro
Girl same, I have broad shoulders and ANYONE with broad shoulders knows these types of necklines and clothes just KILL US. They make us look big, and chunky and bulky and completely masculine in the worst possible way while also making us look like we are being choked to death by our clothes. And apparently people’s idea of “cute feminine clothes” are made in every way to not work on us aaaaaaaaaargh
It would looks bad in my opinion. I have very broad shoulders and stuff like this makes me look like a body builder or Luisa from Encanto.
as much as i understand the complaints i honestly love tank tops because of the straight straps and low collar. i hate having things high up on my neck/torso when i’m hot (makes me feel trapped).
yes i feel suffocated and get overheated way easier.
Also it's an unflattering cut for women with larger boobs. Anything higher up to the neck with those side scoop cut will emphasize the size of of boobs. Had a few shirts with similar neck and side cuts. Very cute shirts but not flattering at all on big boobs.
I have the same issue with my neck. anything near it feels awful.
Yes. It is so uncomfortable. I like the the more square/circle lower scooped tank tops where it’s a beautiful shape and a little cleavage shows instead of the ugly tanks she showed in the beginning
Same, I hate high/crew necks. Usually I love her designs but this one isn't for me.
Not everything is for everyone. If you don’t want to wear it because you can’t wear a bra, that’s okay, there’s a lot of other options. I don’t like wearing bras and that usually doesn’t look good in regular tank tops on my but I think this would look good. Or with a sports bra underneath. This is an athletic wear company.
one word: AMAZING
Wow. Can you make it longer to help with us mommies (or not mothers)who struggle with our pooch?
Even if it were longer, the curved hemline would visually create a “pooch”. I hate curves hemlines for that reason and because you can never tuck them in.
@@ItsViolaRose, same. I have some pooch and just naturally wide hips. While I’ve learned to love my hips, curved hems just make them look waaaayyyy wider. Like unnaturally, disproportionally wide. They’re just not flattering for me. When I worked as a seamstress, I would regularly have women come in asking me to chop off the curved part of them of shirts for the same reason.
My torso is also on the longer side, so extra length in tops is always appreciated!
No hon that is a huge no for us
I think it would look fine if it was longer. If we're gonna have a pooch either way might as well feel more comfortable and covered while having it.
I dont see how having a dog would give you a fashion struggle but ok
I like how most of the comments are proving that function is more important than aesthetics in some cases. Tank tops aren’t really meant to show of your figure or be cute, they are meant to be simple, cheap, light shirts you can just slip over a bra for a quick jog.
lol ngl this one wasnt even that flaterring either , like in the same design bt with more comfortable & utility pattern you can get a tank from jockey that too for cheaper

I definitely know what you mean about feeling choked 😂 ive had to make myself a lower neckline on a bunch of my shirts
Yes I get unnecessary tension between my shoulders with a racer back, sometimes just with a necklace 🥲
Omg thank you, I've never heard anyone else complain about racerbacks! I've had this issue for OVER A DECADE
Yes, a racerback tank top kind of makes my neck hold up my chest instead of my shoulders. Immediate headache
I hate the curved hem and always try to avoid it cause i feel like it makes my hips appear wider and curver in general, but on someone else I think the aesthetic is way better than a normal tank top
Bruh same I like her other ideas especially the higher neck but curved hema are SO unflattering 💀 at least to me
I kinda hate curved hems cause those cling to my stomach 💀
Also why is the fabric so see through? Even if you have a bra that works with the shape you can still see it through the tanks
no literally i hate curved hem so much it makes me feel so awkward and i dont feel like i look right
Curved hems always make my stomach look bigger/more beer gut like especially when the top is that short 😅 pretty much a design only suited for small chested slim people
The thing that I like the most is the high neckline because like that you can do your sport comfortably❤

cute but my exact gripe w clothing nowadays is how difficult it is to wear normal bras underneath for the sake of style. i don’t always want my nips showing or dealing with uncomfortable strapless bras. i don’t want to look like a freshman in high school with my bright red straps showing
That was my exact thought, it makes me uncomfortable not to wear bras but with tight shirts like this it’s impossible to wear them without my the straps showing. I don’t like not wearing a bra, especially when exercising because they bounce around and hurt, and my nipples show. I like how this tank top looks but it’s a real pain in the ass.

You should try on different necklines with the perspective “if I were someone I saw walking down the street, would I judge them for this?”
It has been extremely helpful in loving my natural features and my sense of style. It only works for people who do not judge though, people who aren’t brainwashed.
As someone with broad shoulders, something about things with this fit make me feel very powerful and “academic”. I don’t know how to describe it. I had a dress with a similar cut and it made me feel very independent. It just accentuates my shoulders in a way that I like, I normally don’t like when clothes do that.

I would love it if it were longer.
This tank top design got rid of everything people who actually wear tank tops like about them, here’s a list of what went wrong.
1) the original straps are placed to cover your bra straps, so your design would force most girls to wear a bra that would be awful to exercise in.
2) tank tops (the ones in your references) are for us who like a quick easy to put on shirt without caring about the ‘fashion’ of it, so adding the cross in the back is unnecessary and could add an annoying element when putting one on.
3) the thin material and loose fit is because it’s comfy and you don’t have to care about how it looks, by adding the large ribbing you’ve added weight to it as well as make it less breathable and flowy.
4) making it tighter so that it fits to your body no only affects the breathability but looks unflattering on a multitude of bodytypes, only a thin or hourglass body type can work with that, but having tight cloth around your belly is uncomfortable (when exercising) regardless of the bodytype.
5) the neckline really accentuates the shoulders, some women (such as myself) who have more prominent shoulders do enjoy the ‘strong’ look with that, but most don’t making it a bad idea for a feminine neckline.
6) it’s too short! I already own tank tops that have the curved shape at the bottom and it doesn’t really add much it is just personal preference, but at least all the tank tops I own go either just to, or just past, the crotch. It I wanted a shorter one I would just by it cropped.
Overall, It’s very obvious you don’t wear tanks because this design takes away a lot of their practicality in favour of design. And I wear these singlets to exercise in so it’s very impractical.
Yesss ^^^
Totally agree also from an autistic point.. normal tank tops come down far enough on the neckline so I can’t feel it on my neck.
This would make me feel like I’m being strangled by it as it’s faaaar too high! As soon as it was drawn I choked and was like ‘oooh nooo!’
Again this comes from an autistic point of view with high neck sensitivities, but I’m sure I’m not the only one!
I'm personally a fan of the neckline, but not the teardrop cutout in the back. (I do have broad shoulders and enjoy showing them off -- femininity is not my main concern) The clinginess is the main problem since "accentuating your hourglass shape" is something you can only do if you have one. Apple-shaped girls like me are quaking. The length is a problem if you're considering it workout gear, but as a fashion item I'd say it's fine.
Yes, I agree with everything you said
Everything about this comment is 💯!! I love the og tanks
This is gonna be such a pain on the neck, like literally, the change puts the weight of the shirt/chest on the back of the neck instead of distributing it across the shoulders
I feel like if you fell asleep in it you might wake up to it choking you like baggy long T-shirts do sometimes lol.
@@caseylockwood15 That at least is a choke I'm willing to take for the comfort of sleeping in an over-large shirt lol
This was my first thought too, I can't stand the neck discomfort with shirts like this
This girl has got talent ❤
The normal tanks along with these are pretty good! I would wear both.
For anyone who carries a little more weight in their upper body and chest like I do, these types of tank tops typically dig into my skin around my armpits and looks really unflattering. I would adore if you could adjust this for some of us who are heavier up too!!!
Speaking as a retail worker, I personally hate when athletic tops have a criss cross design bc it makes it much harder to put them on the hangers right. This one doesn’t really have that much of a problem bc the straps are thicker and the design is more solid and higher up the back but still 85% of the time I’m too tired to put up with the making clothes fit on the hangers and I just wanna slip em on and be done. But that’s just me lol
Lmao exactly, they look so ugly on hangers because of that
Make a cropped version pls 😊
This is the best design you could do for a tank top! Exactly what I was looking for
My shoulders and armpit areas are almost never what I'm trying to accentuate! What about workout tank tops for folks with armpit insecurities
Wear a regular tank?
The bra straps would show tho.. and this may be just a personal gripe of mine but the criss cross would drive me nuts. I can't even wear bras built like that tbh. And if you have a bigger chest this just won't work as seamlessly.
The pros though!! I loveee the larger rib on the fabric. I love how smooth it looks in comparison to the way tank tops usually bunch up. And I love the arm holes as well, I personally hate when things are too high up near the armpit so the lower cut is definitely a pro for me.
I like both the original and your one. There is a time and place for both looks.
Definitely love this, wish it was a little longer tho
good effort but this is just a personal preference thing of mine, this tank has every design element i hate in it. the dramatic low armpit cut makes your bra visible - shows your armpit fat, the keyhole back again makes your bra visible and the high neck makes it harder to style it with other garments and as its been pointed out in the comments before it would show the bra straps and i find that look just awful
can u make one with a lower neckline, idk abt anyone else but I cannot stand the feeling of clothing on my neck, otherwise its so cute
Me neither, esp as I like my shirts longer but sadly that can lead to pulling on the back when sitting, making this problem even worse
I really like the black one
A built in bra or bralette option would be amazing!
Also, allowing adjustability in the straps bc the high neckline can be unflattering for some people (like me who has a slight double chin lol)
Otherwise, would love to see more colors!!
" Yes I'm all about the entrance, but I'm also all about the exit too " omggggg yessss I LOVE itt!!!! 💖💖💖💖
Is it dirty or it's only me?
@@BRACIAKSERO nah i got you, how ever i dont think she meant it as a dirty joke thats how they talk(some of them)
you can’t fix what isn’t broken
nah man fr. that high neckline will make my boobs look saggy since i have a larger chest
It’s called innovation
yeah, she definitely innovated it…🥴🥴
@@junedaisy707 rude.
@@junedaisy707 No need to write an essay about how the front was a style in 2000s. You called it “crap” so I simply said rude.
The white one is see trough..but its really pretty
I love everything about this design except one thing could you make a version with a lower neckline
I feel like she designs for herself and tests on herself and this is all about her so if you look exactly like her in every way and dress exactly like her then you’ll love her designs.
a tank is a basic. that’s the beauty of it. it’s not supposed to have all the bells and whistles. high neck curved hem keyhole back wide rib this is just not a tank anymore lol
And EVERYTHING IS CROPPED.
Whereas most people don’t want cropped
@@Puglover130 as far as i know she only took our advice one time. not everything has to be cutesy and girly. some things are meant to be basic and simple.
Don't like it don't buy it simple
@@venusal-sairafi2405 news flash: if someone doesn't like something they obviously aren't gonna waste money on it, we're just having opinions and if you make clothes for other people then you shoud take their advice instead of doing what you like for yourself
ALSO! Any women that needs a bra can't wear this without their straps showing, it's like she designed it only for women with the luxury of going braless
i actually really love basic tanks. i have man-arms so i prefer when the straps are straight, if they’re like this then my arms look huge. also, lower neck lines r better in my opinion since they look more fem.
PLS DO A COZY COURSET
OK SLAY WITH THESE DESIGNS GO GIRL!!!!
I usually go for a lower collar since I hate anything tight on my collarbone. Drives me crazy for some reason. Cute top, good work.
Same
Dramatic arm hole…. All I hear is “check out this armpit fat cutlet! You like?” 😂
It’s beautiful, but you should make a long sleeve version🩷
You are honestly amazing!🤩
