Pressure bleeding the brakes on you car. This car is a TVR Chimaera part 8 is me finally getting the suspension & brakes finished & some new tyres ready for the Summer.
Eyup Steve great bit of brake bleeding kit, always a job as a novice i hate to do!!!!!. really nice job you've made of the suspension and brakes. see you on the next instalment👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 atb Kev
Fiddley business, that pressure device. It needs to include a second attachment, used when you've finished the bleeding, that allows the brake circuits and cylinder to depressurise into a waste jar. But those wheels and tyres look very tasty! 👍👍
Thanks John. Yes you are spot on . The idea is there but they just have not thought it through about removing the device from the master cylinder reservoir. Got the wheels on tonight they look the biz. Hopefully try the brakes tomorrow. Thanks for the comments. Steve.
I'd be very interested to know your thoughts on those tyres. Reason? Ive got Griffith 500 and my rear tyres are the same as your old ones. Shocked myself last weekend when I checked the date code. They look great condition but are 2006!!! I was looking around for new rear tyres and like the toyos you choose. Love to know what you think is the difference between OLD and new. I'm getting mine done next week.
Hi Harvy. I cannot comment on the old tyres as I only did a few miles on them before realising they were that old. I have been out today for a decent run & the new tyres feel great. Did not push them but well pleased. The guy at performance wheels & tyres in Leeds has a Focus ST. He said he had tried various tyres inc Michelin etc & would not use anything else but the Toyo proxey TR-1. He said they are great in the wet too. Hope you get sorted. Steve.

Cheers Kev. So far so good. Will be testing tomorrow.
Steve.
Good job Steve. I have a Sealey pressure bleeder, absolutely brilliant. Works from an airline.
Best wishes, Dean.
Hi Dean. Yes they save a lot of hassle & a 2nd person. Thanks for the comment.

@@Steviegtr52 The pressure bleeding is still less hassle than needing a stooge to sit at the controls ,,, 'down...up...down...up...'😄
