A Urus sells for a lot more than 150k on the used market, id take the car. I hope you are delivering it to my driveway, if you do you can take my 350z away for free haha. Actually my wife is looking at SUV's for when a baby comes, we need something more 'practical'. Urus is a SUV. looks very practical.

This is a video I genuinely did not expect. There's no way he keeps to the speed limits :D Also he must have had a ban at one point to have to do his test multiple times but pass first time in both cases lol. It would be interesting to see him do it in your car also because he's not the best with a manual gearbox any more from what I've seen

@@inglesconmatt yeah I commented before the video went out - I think he may have mentioned it before on the Yiannimize channel because he said he used to drive stupidly and then it changed once he became a family man
The serious is the main reason I became a little disillusioned with driving tests. It is clear that Yianni is a great driver. Yet not being perceived as making a little check in a deserted carpark is marked as serious. Meanwhile, others pass while making 8+ minor faults, many of which are hugely subjective and could be majors.
I've been driving for 6 years now. I had several tests like Yianni where I had maybe one or two minors, then a 'major'. At the time, each failed test was a massive financial impact. Now, I've known a couple of people pass their tests that really shouldn't have, but got lucky on the day. They've become overly nervous drivers that are clueless about the rules of the road. The test I passed was the worst I have ever driven, but at no point was there perceived to have been a major fault.
Well it's a serious fault for a reason. If there was someone there, they would've been hit.
@@mlx39996 you can say that for certain can you? The other driver has zero awareness and we are forgetting that Yianni had already checked and seen that nothing was coming, it was the last minute blind spot check that he failed to undertake.
But yes, I get your point, a rogue driver could have been travelling at speed, breaking the speed limit without making a sound and alerting anybody, through the car at the exact time of the manoeuvre and been struck.
I, of course, am being a little facetious. The real reason for it being a major fault is that driving examiners only get a glimpse into the driver you’re going to be. If they think that you’re likely to repeat the error in a more crowded situation then they’ll fail you.
Thankfully, I have heard that the government is looking to revise tests as the pass rate is becoming so unbelievably bad that it’s basically just a false economy. The people that decide whether you pass have a financial interest in not seeing you pass.

@@daquaviousbingleton9763 what's the maximum number of minors you can get before failing in uk? Here in canada ,it's 100 mark exam and 91 is the passing grade. Each minor is 2 points and major is 10 points.
@matt l but there wasn't anyone there. Some instructors would have said it was only a minor because no one was there. Also, Who is to say that he didn't look whe he was looking out the window

22:10 Yes and the reason why u need to check twice is that if someone is coming up very quickly then they could suddenly appear in the blindspot. This is very common on the German autobahn where there’s a huge difference in speed between the leftmost (overtaking) lane and the other lanes. It’s common to suddenly brake hard because someone cuts u off with less than 120 km/h while u were doing 230 km/h and they forgot to look at their blindspot twice.
That doesn't make any sense though to be honest, because what's not to say you will not see them the second time you check, but will be there the third time you check? That 'rule' has an infinite amount of possible outcomes. In reality, if that's the theory/rule that is followed, you should be there forever checking your mirror back and fourth infinite amount of times hhahaa

I have 3 years of experience driving in India and now 3 years in Canada, I definitely feel that I have lost the edge and would fail if I were to take the test in UK especially with all the roundabouts.

The thing is new cars like the Urus have built in blindspot detectors. You can always rely on them. They always work flawlessly.

At the start when he went into the roundabout, she said correct lane for going forward. Here we can use both 1st and 2nd line going forward, 1st for going right and always second line for left and u turn

Exactly! The thought of failing and waiting for months while also being worried about you losing the skill while waiting, and also paying for more hours driving-it's the hardest part😢

I passed first with 1 minor only because I did my test in a new car, my instructor got a new car, and I drove it for the first time 1 hour before my test. It was a technical question, not an issue with my driving.
Hi Aman! I just wanted to thank you for the videos, I'm mostly a lurker but I've been watching for over a year now! I passed my driving test this week and I'm over the moon! My partner was like 'you passed why do you keep watching the mock test videos?' so I explained that this way I'm continuing to be reminded of all the GOOD habits to have as opposed to the bad ones that might get picked up now I'm driving solo. Well, cant say i expected this
Its so wierd seeing my usual driving route in one of these mock tests!
I would get a Subaru Impreza with the automatic and the EyeSight package. That car trained me up as an excellent driver just by politely yet firmly telling me off when I messed up my driving. I am a much better driver now than I used to be simply because it is that good. The automatic transmission enables the EyeSight Package and save enormously on fuel, and is a really easy unit to control at low speed. The car also handles and stops quite nicely and predictably, rides well, and has a very logical interior layout. I really strongly recommend that as a normal car.

When I took my test, when Lamborghini's only business was making tractors, we used handbrakes when stopping on a hill. You don’t seem to do hill starts or reversing round both types of corners any more.
I've got blind spot warning lights on my mirrors, I do use them to an extent on the motorway but I also physically look. I've been doing the same for nearly 40 years, 50 including motorbikes, I’m too old to change now.
