Wildfire a ‘potent’ way of releasing arsenic into the atmosphere, report says

A recently released report has found that wildfires are a ‘potent’ contributor to arsenic emissions and last year’s massive fire outside Yellowknife, near an abandoned mine site, emitted up to half of all arsenic released from wildfires globally.
