Wilco 1993 Toy Truck and Racer Unboxing and Review

I found this Wilco truck at a local flea market and decided to buy it to go with my Hess trucks. In this video, I open and review the truck.

The reason why Wilco trucks are exactly the same as Hess trucks are because Wilco was a business partner with Hess - they got their fuel supplied through Hess, as they were too small to have an independent refinery. Hess gave them permission to re-use the previous year's Hess truck design, and I believe they were made in the same factory too.
Believe it or not - Wilco was not the only company to do this - there was ANOTHER gas company called Servco that was also a business partner with Hess, for the same reasons as Wilco, and they too sold copies of the Hess trucks a year after Hess did - only they are white with RED accents, instead of turquoise (more like blue) or green. I have started collecting those myself. I would recommend checking out Railfans Of Northeast Georga's Toy Truck Parade videos - he has a bunch of Servco and Wilco trucks in them.

Thanks for this information! I had a hard time finding out that many facts about this brand. I didn’t know about the Servco trucks.

never heard of them... i guess the the bastard version of Hess PS- id call that medium blue, turquoise has green in it.
