So here I am, it's 3am in the UK and I'm awake looking for something to watch on yt when up pops a notification for this vid... PERFECT. I've done projects with resin before but I've never heard of Micarta until now. What a great machette, you could hack your way through a tropical jungle with that beast. Thanks Stephen

I would definitely watch some reviews before hacking through, well... anything really... with that machete. It's a shame watching this guy so thoroughly apply lipstick to a pig. A Tramontina would be infinitely better, and would probably be cheaper too.

Thank you John. Glad you enjoyed this project. I am not sure if I will be making the Mosaic pins for a while because I still have over two feet of it for future projects. I researched it on TH-cam and found a lot of information on making them. They are easy to make you can find the tubes and even epoxy at most all Hobby Supply stores and a handheld vacuum pump for very cheap at an auto parts store or Harbor Freight. I hope this helps. @@StephenOgle LOL As you know I was only jiving you! I use my wifes left-over make-up for all sorts of things. I'm gifted to have a daughter and 3 grand daughters who all use make-up. (+ a great grand daughter). And I get all the left-overs and sometimes I think, " what am I going to do with all this stuff". But I find a way, some times. Isn't life and family wondeful? :-)

Thank you Anne. Micarta is essentially cloth or paper that has been soaked in resin to form a block. It is extremely durable and one of the best handle materials for knives and handgun grips. My next video will demonstrate how I make it myself. I hope you will enjoy that video also. Take Care.

I have made handles for two of these one for grandson and one for me I used wood and brass pins I don't like the supplied hardware
