Too many Amateur Cooks trying to be too clever instead of sticking with what really works with these dishes
I think the narrator forgets that the UK is the original version not the US one
he also forgets that season 12(?) of Masterchef AU was a "back to win" season and that Reynold had already been a Masterchef AU contestant back in its seventh season - where he had already shown his prowess and potential for dessert/pattissierie work (he'd come fourth back then, I believe), which is to say that "nobody saw it coming" is a sign of either ignorance or... I don't know, living under a rock?
I couldn’t finish that season cause I hated Krissy so much 🙄 Bragging about being a bully to girls and threatening people 🙄
If she had the same attitude in High-school as she did in the show like she boasted ( I do not understand why she is proud of that. ) .. There is no way she would have done well at the schools I have been to. Willing to bet she had few friends if any. I would feel sorry for her but that wound is self inflicted.
I finished it just to see her fail and my god it’s an amazing feeling when she does

Idk where everyone else lives, but Walmart here is the LAST place you want to go get your steaks and produce. So to hear him talking about how grand it was to have these great Walmart products, I couldn't help but 😵💫🤢
I will buy everything but produce and any meat other than for pre packaged stuff like chorizo bacon and or spam. Nothing that they have a hand it directly

I was the meat department manager for a Walmart for about 6 years. The USDA choice meat is actual USDA choice meat surprisingly, but is literally the leftovers from better cuts and full of tendons and ligaments rather than having beautiful marbling like you would expect. In another surprise, fresh meat department steak is never frozen, but USDA choice meat is so packed full of additives and flowering agents to keep them looking that pretty red color that the tenderness and flavor is lost to chemicals. Do yourselves a favor and get the regular cuts. They put less additives and flowering agents into these cuts so the meat actually has more flavor and is more tender, they just don't have that long of a shelf life, so make sure you get the freshest that's available by specifically asking to get something that was delivered that day.
3:01 I think what pissed off the judges even more particularly Gordon Ramsay, was that CUTTER stuck a MasterChef Logo on his dish

Wonder if anyone else is like me.. I do not really have a good pallet and due to it.. Both cooking and judging food is not really my thing due to it. But I still enjoy watching shows like these. ( Though I prefer the original UK versions over the USA versions of Ramsey's shows. )
Oh and I feel like I am understating how bad it is for me when it comes to tasting food.. When I was a kid I had some not good things happen to me.. Stuff that went on for years and its left a lot of scars. One of the places that never fully healed is my tongue. Its kind of made things a bit rougher when it comes to actually tasting and judging food due to it.
