TIFR Emergency Marine Rescue Training - May 2024

Treasure Island Fire Rescue along with Madeira Beach Fire Department, St. Pete Beach Fire Rescue, Gulfport Fire and Rescue, Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue and South Pasadena Firefighters participated in Emergency Marine Rescue training. The units rotated through four stations. The objectives of the training were to demonstrate efficient deployment of rescue swimmers, understanding of how to use water rescue boards, and removal of patients from the water utilizing rescue boards.
