Efectivamente, al comparar economías de diferentes países se deben usar las paridades de poder adquisitivo (PPA) y de esa manera eliminar las distorsiones generadas por los niveles o índices de precios... Fuente visualcapitals, igual se puede hallar la información en la ocde, bm, entre otros y hasta el sentido común. Hay que desconocer mucho de economía para creer que Madrid con apenas 6 millones de habitantes supere en actividad económica a una ciudad de casi 20 millones cuando sus diferencias en PIB PPA percapita no corresponden con dicha proporción. Hoy por hoy la ciudad hispana con la economía de mayor tamaño es Ciudad de México.
