Oh yea the rain won't matter in the squat because of the stance they use.....right after a guy was lucky to not fuck up both knees due to lack of grip on his shoes. Clear proof that crossfit doesn't give a shit about its participant's even at the top level
My bad, I should have elaborated more. What I mean't was in power lifting competitors can't use the myotatic reflex to "bounce up" from the bottom of the squat, they have to wait for the ref to give thumbs up to start the concentric phase of the lift. Only after the signal from the ref can they start moving upwards. They need to show a controlled final position.
Mean Productions bro did you ever watch a powerlifting competition? Its allowed to bounce. In fact a bounce doesnt make you stronger. Most of the Athletes Try to stop the movement at parallel to shorten the Range of Motion. There is No Signal to Go Up.. only a Signal No Go Down!!
You may want to do a little research before you comment. They have a process where they bail out from under the bar. For those of us who aren't domesticated weirdos it works fine.
39:39 Bridges looks like he is just chillin hahahaha
like he's at a bar-be-que or something.
Kenney got away with a bit of a bounce and using that momentum on his strict press
32:10
The organizers having them lift in the rain is so stupid
9:33 “FUCK!!!”

You can’t expect these athletes to perform at their best when your blasting crappy mainstream music during the heats.
I cant find event 4 !!
11:00 deadlift since when was 4 plates over 500lb???
low resolution vid. it's actually 5 plates where 2 are thinner than the rest. 11x45 + 2x10 + 2x5 = 525lbs
They can bounce at the bottom of the squat? that's illegal in power lifting right?
Yes, pause needed in powerlifting
Mean Productions No it‘s Not wtf ??

Uh oh. You used big words. Now they won't read it and will automatically get offended and assume you're wrong.
