I think FS needs a total overhaul of the physics, The tractors are once again bricks that move and steer like bricks. No feel to the character movement no enter, exit animation. If they would take a step forward in evolving the fs series to a newer standard I think it would bring new life to the existing fans and bring alot of new people into the fs community
I totally agree the past couple of titles have just been the previous game with updated graphics, new machines and new crops which are nice additions along with maybe 1 new or expanded game system, in the past titles I feel their haven't been any new major mechanics or features. The feature I want most is more realistic livestock where you can heard and dynamically put in different fields to graze.
Yup I’m with yall, they need to take a serious look at this stuff and make changes I’m sick of buying the same game over and over again with the lure of “one new thing” each time
What for? We can sell the same game for the fifth time for full price like EA with fifa Fans will make mods and in next edition we will add another 2 or 3 new crops maeby new kind of animal and some dlcs 😑
I honestly never thought I'd see people gushing over something as basic as ambient occlusion and cloud shadows in a 2025 release game. Giants really are just drip-feeding basic features every 2 years for a full price release...
@@optimalxrecovery3308 i woul love if giant tock an approach similar to SCS with ETS2 and ATS. This is viable aproch for them as they can still profit from the game with dlcs and c9ntinuely bring new features over time with larger updates every 6 or 12 months. Then they could then do season every couple of year that would come with a headline dlc/expansion with new crops, machines, animals and whatever releasing smaller dlcs (like their regular ones) included in that bundle.
The main reason I want dynamic ground is because it would add so much realism to the game by itself, I want my dirt driveway to be so full of old tractor and truck tracks and ruts that I have to grab my skidsteer out the shed and spend the afternoon grading my driveway. Want real 4x4 where you can see the tractors struggling in mud and spinning in the mud, having to be pulled out. More complex dirt and gravel, not just the same gravel print copied and pasted over and over to make a “yard”
I saw the Giants gameplay yesterday, and I thought it was a modpack for FS22. Then I saw it was an official upload, and my smile faded. This looks and drives like FS17 should've.
@ThatCat859 if that actually be the case which I doubt it well be that different graphics wise to be honest, they shouldn't of already released game play footage of it then. Otherwise that just tells everyone that that's what the graphics are gonna look like.
@ThatCat859 because if you think about it as well, they didn't just instantly release game play footage of fs22 or 19 right after announcing them, like they did here.
I just wish they had better "crop physics." We've had the "paintbrush" implements for so long and crappy indie games in the genre have dynamic fields for years now, as best I can tell from the rice planting this is the same as 22 and prior. They also avoided showing pallet handling (intentionally?), my biggest gripe with the "old" engine 19 and 22 used. Real time reflections and shadow sound nice, but likely represent the "upgrade or die" mindset many modern devs have when it comes to optimization; still, I agree it is a necessary (and long overdue) update to the visuals. The fog is nice, but my eye is on the improved lighting, I hope they get that right as working at night is just miserable in 22 prior without some ridiculous lamps (due to the awful lighting distance and complete lack of light bounce, moonlight, or auto exposure). Overall, then, this is starting to feel a lot like 22 was to 19. A coat of fresh paint, pull in a few mods as new features, and a whole lot of "icing" (implements, tractors, maps, new crop types that could all be done using mods). As the price point--and DLC numbers--continues to rise, I find myself voting with my wallet. My personal take is I'm looking for more simulation in this "simulator" and this might mark two generations in a row where we don't get that. I hope they announce more about the improved game engine's physics and simulation soon, but nothing I see right now had convinced me to preorder.
Honestly agree they just do a reskin with a few mods every yr all the new physics they add have been around for years and its mostly a money grab mods have been hard carrying the life span of the franchise
Without mods the game would have died years ago. This is definitely looking like a money grab. Its hard not drawing a conclusion when all they show is graphic updates no new engine, 2D textures, no terrain terraforming and so on. As of now i wont be buying the game unless there hiding something huge.
@@DeGroatRacing447 let's be honest, every release since 19 has just been a fifa style content update that they roll out at full release price. it's always been a money grab

I more interested in how you make a bank around the field to let you flood it? will you only be able to make rice in certain fields or will you be able to make your own banks and install your own water pumps? The weekend should be good...
There appear to be two ways to plant rice, submerging fields and planting as usual, although I'm not sure exactly if you're gonna need to water the regular fields constantly since all the water in the submerged fields is used to grow the rice. @@bluebutterfly6394

oooh, new Massey Ferguson Tractor. Like the sound of that. I always have a MF on my farms as I learned Tractor driving on an old 135 back in 89. So have a fondness for Massey Ferguson.
OMG, Stars? I'm really happy about that. All in all, I think FS 25 looks gorgeous and this video makes me quite excited to buy it. Thank you Daggerwin!
I’m thinking, I wouldn’t get my hopes up, but how would you convert another field that is not dipped down to dipped down and vice Versa? The only answer pretty much is digging it more. That may mean we could get dynamic ground as we wanted. But then again they could just have certain fields as rice fields, but I may be on to something.
Awesome stuff. Love your videos. If I may offer a slight pronunciation tip though: Japanese names are actually super straightforward because their language operates with individual syllables rather than letter combinations like English, so every syllable is pronounced the same no matter where it appears in the word, and all of their vowels are always the same. So in this case in Iseki it's I (as in Igloo) - Se (as in set) and Ki (as in key). It's no bother, keep up the great content and pronounce things however you like to but just in case you are interested. I find Japanese names super fun because once you know how they handle vowels and syllables, everything follows the rules and there's no ambiguity like English. Can't wait to see your FS 25 play throughs!
I'm waiting to see what they really mean by "Ground deformation", it is going to determine whether this game will be worth buying or if it's just more of the same with a prettier facade
I’m hyped for this. It’s cool that gps is coming to base game. I just had a thought though. Since it’s coming to consoles how will you activate it? Because on pc you need a keyboard. I wonder what kind of features will it have. In real life you can save field information and it’ll turn and raise and lower implements. I’m hoping for at least a snapping feature where it’ll snap back to the line when you release the steering wheel.
The game looks very good, but i hope for more realistic grass. I know games haven’t come that far yet, but in a dream world. More signs of life around you (like in gta 5) would also be great
1 feature I think would be quite cool is if you were in single player and wanted to say for example fertilise your field or spray for example instead of just hiring a working to do this create a contract job for another farmer to come and do the job for you. So if you don’t have a fert spreader or sprayer someone can come in and do it for you
It's amazing how they keep making FS games but they haven't changed since FS11. Yes they look better with higher quality textures and some small realistic touches here and there like crops or grass bending around you or your wheels and such or tire "physics" but the actual physics of the game are the same since its damn inception. Vehicles still feel stiff and wierd, steering is still too snappy to the point of yet again probably needing mods to fix it,camera probably the same. I genuinely think FS25 is just a higher texture resolution FS22 which itself was a higher texture resolution FS version of past ones XD
Really happy to see denser crops and better looking grass texture, hoping that the grass will be much taller too :D But the one thing I would really like as a feature, being able to feed cattle only silage again! hate that you cant do it in fs22, and that feed consumption goes up :)

It could just be because that harvester is pretty agile but that rice harvester that was doing 8kph - did that look a lot faster than than speed normally would in FS2022? I know it's not a big deal but it was something I noticed. I'm also a bit of a fan of having small, compact havesters like that-some of the specialist crops like sugarcane need such expensive gear you kind of have to specialize in them, while this will have some of that no doubt it looks like it'll be a bit easier to side-grade into rice, especially given your normal havesters can collect it too.
the steaming manure pile had a 2d texture for the steam, that might just be to demonstrate that they will add steaming manure but havent quite finalised the texture yet, i hope thats the case but from a distance the steam does look quite good its only really noticable close up

I’d love to have animations for getting in and out of the vehicles, just to really add to the realism.
Im wondering 2 things.
After seeing that fog will we see more realistic rain.
#2 If we can use a ferry can we use other boats in the game.
Finally!!!! GPS
Crawfish would be a sick bi-product of the ricefields or make for a killer DLC
cant wait for rice simulator 2025!
huzzaaaa ... STAGNATION-FEST
With the rice you probably buy the greenhouse and use it like normal but you can use or sell the pallets
I've pre-ordered my copy on the Microsoft store im looking forward to getting my hands on the game as for the vehicles a few of the ones mentioned such as the massey Ferguson 9s, the new Holland combine and the macdon swaffer were at Lamma earlier this year.
Are you going to get an demo copy of the game
I want water puddles on my field after its rained. Looks really good.
I'm gonna miss alot of the old DLC's though
Do you think sushi would be a production chain if FS 25?
It could just be because that harvester is pretty agile but that rice harvester that was doing 8kph - did that look a lot faster than than speed normally would in FS2022? I know it's not a big deal but it was something I noticed. I'm also a bit of a fan of having small, compact havesters like that-some of the specialist crops like sugarcane need such expensive gear you kind of have to specialize in them, while this will have some of that no doubt it looks like it'll be a bit easier to side-grade into rice, especially given your normal havesters can collect it too.
FS22 runs quite wel on Steam Deck. I hope this one as well. I'm excited
AHHHHH YESS
OMG LOVE THE NEW WATTER
Looks great! Like a crap load of money into very fast pc with a 4080 card in it. That being said mine probably won't look nearly that good.
the steaming manure pile had a 2d texture for the steam, that might just be to demonstrate that they will add steaming manure but havent quite finalised the texture yet, i hope thats the case but from a distance the steam does look quite good its only really noticable close up
do the tyres squish over rocks and curbs. Also do they flatten with heavier loads
