    Hah, ‘thats all the bikes we have’ he says 😂😂😂. To be fair Mr Loco Joe, thats a pretty decent stable of sweet rides. I too hadnt seen all of them. A bike aint just a bike, each one has a bit soul. Cheers mate, have a tasty week. Be careful in that snow 🫡

      and just to think at one time we had nearly twice this many bikes. At that time we were even renting a storage unit to store some of them. I thought I'd ride them all but I wasn't and I didn't want to become a collector so we got rid of many of them. Thanks ian!.

    The GT Timberline! As a kid I use to race a GT bmx frame. I loved that bike!

      I think the company started out with BMX and then later MTB. I just by chance ended up with 2 old GT MTBs. The other an Outpost.

      Thanks Roger. I think having all the choices is part of what keeps me motivated to ride.

    Love it, you have plenty to ride. I love the diamondback gravel bike.

    • @Locojoe
      @Locojoe  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks. The Diamondback is a pretty nice ride. It was low end and pretty cheap at the time I got it.. I don't ride it that much though I suppose because I like the modified quirkky bikes better even if they don't ride as well.

      Thanks. It's their low end gravel bike and I bought it back in 2017. Been pleased with it overall. Thanks for watching.

      I often think about putting drop bars on the Crossroads. Maybe someday I'll get around to doing it. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    I don’t think I had seen Your Salsa, or Diamondback bikes before… or Nova’s Schwinn cruiser. All very cool. But man I love the sounds of your old beach bikes.

    • @Locojoe
      @Locojoe  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Both the Salsa and the Diamondback are the newest and nicest bikes I have even though they're low end. I ride them the least though. Just prefer the others that have more personality..

    Fantastic selection! I know this, if Salsa isn't paying Nova, they should be.

      Thanks!. Lol yeah Nova really likes her Salsa. All these bikes and she'll always pick the Salsa. I can't relate.

    Really love your style and hope to be inspired to build some of my way to many bikes up as cool as yours 👍
    Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing!!!!!
    Kind regards from a dude in little flat Denmark (where the highest point is 171 metres above sea level) with a lot of 90's mountain bikes 😅

    • @Locojoe
      @Locojoe  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's funny. In the late 1980s we got all excited about the mountain bike craze and bought our first ones. We would occasionally take them to the mountains but mostly just ride them here where it's flat. That seemed silly to me so I then really got into old singlespeed cruisers for a lot of years. Now I'm back to mostly old 90s mtbs lol. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have fun with your builds.

    So many jewels. Wow. // I've got to give some of my bikes away. I have too many and not enough room. As you know, you can't make any money off used bikes, so I give them to the second hand store hoping someone will appreciate them.

    • @Locojoe
      @Locojoe  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks. Yeah I've given a several away. Just don't like to hassle with trying to sell.

    That's a lot of nice bikes. We have two Lectric bikes which we ride the most. One ancient Italian single speed folder. A specialized Hybrid, a 7 speed Beach cruiser and two three speed beach cruisers. The Lectric Lite is the most challenging, but after about 1000 miles I can ride it hands free.

  • @pierrelabbe9621

    That's a lot of bikes that seem to cover similar niches. Do you just kinda pick which one you want to ride on a given day?

    • @Locojoe
      @Locojoe  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You're right about having several that cover similar niches. I've often thought about narrowing it down but just can't pick favorites. Sometimes I may be riding a task that requires a specific bike but most the time I just ride whichever bike hasn't been ridden in the longest period. Just rotate through them. Thanks for watching!
