LOVE watching you work, EVEN when you make a mistake!!! I have the highest admiration for the skillz guys like you have when working with wood!!!! Simply AMAZING
Safest way take out the riving knive lower your blade below table surface and slowly raise your blade with the wood on top obviously,Cheers from Toronto Canada!!!love your vids!!!!
Great little diy build! XD I've done a few bits before not having my tools in the workshop and its the worst! Awesome work! Looking forward to more of the green oak build!
Brilliant . . . even the quick jobs are impressive. I know when I have used the computer too much when I try to maximise the screen to fill the room. A better feature . . . maximise the screen and you appear in the room with full range of tools and timber.
Nice afternoon’s work. Use what you’ve got and improvise. So clever. I wish I’d thought of that before we bought our inside cabinet bins. Enjoy your Sunday evening 🌞
Thanks for the vid. You may have inspired me to do the same. Looks like Hafele does not do that type/model of Cargo bin anymore. Shame as the handles as you pointed out would be very handy to hold the bag.
12:42 An alternative and much safer way to do this is with a plunge cut track saw that you’d use to do cut out for a kitchen sink, the second way would be drill 4 holes with a wood or spade drill bit and join the holes together with a jigsaw
Think he said all his tools were on site meaning he just had to ‘make do’ with a Festool Domino, an industrial drill press and jointer. Shop goals eh 😂
I was think raising the blade into to wood, done that plenty. But I’m not sure what that old saw has in terms of rise: fall He’s in there naked, all his gear is probably on that big oak install and the last thing you want to do is go near a customer when you’re not working there 👍🏻
Cool little project! For a plunge cut on the table saw I like to take a square off the fence and bring it to just where the front of the blade touches the square, then I’ll mark a line on the fence at that point; I do the same for the back of the blade. Then on your workpiece you make your marks where you do not want to cut past and once they line up with your marks on the fence you know for certain you have not cut too far
My zeta P2 would have loved that job! 😂. Nice one Anything in woodworking that can go wrong will :( I made a beautiful little sash on Friday, some yank I seen was banging on about a glazing bar cross joint being ‘the hardest joint in carpentry’ and if you could do it you were basically Yoda! I thought immediately ‘bullshit’ so I knocked it out two complete lengths ( I’d always did a little stub tenon or even dare I say my a scribe and a paslode brad 😮) Anyway the thing is done, absolutely perfect ! Glue drying and I was quite proud of myself 😂 felt like Oliver Bradshaw for a minute! Mate from next door comes in ( they do electrical/AC handy!) Wants a little bit of ply cleaned up, pencil round edges etc for his caravan…. Do all that and pick up my vernier calliper check his ply thickness…. Set wide belt done! Beautiful! …. He picks up my calliper ‘these are sweet eh Daz!? ‘. ‘Yeah mate I can’t measure that accurately!’… He’s gone…. I’ll sand that sash and call it a day! Put my bit of board in sander with the notch in it for meeting rail to sit in like I showed you before… measure sash and board with calliper…. Subtract 0.2 on sander…. Through she goes! Damn that’s not sounding right?!…. Sash comes through with the full quirk off the moulding off! No way! Can’t happen! I remembered him touch my stuff! Check calipers… he’d zeroed them out at just under 3 mm … so closed at zero they read -2.7 mm. Just enough that your mind wouldn’t question it 🤷. I only leave about 0.6 mm on over size …ruined I was so gutted, mainly as it’s first time I did the hardes joint in carpentry, perfect first time and I was Yoda!! 😂 The universe kicks me in the nuts again! 😂. Up on Saturday morning…did it all again
That dropping something onto the blade freaks me out but I don't have any problem free handing without a fence🤣 Your landlord is going to love having you as a tenant! I am sure he won't be removing your upgrade!
Great little project. Glad you showed how to do the cut in a safe manner. Any reason you did not use your track saw? Enjoying your oak beam videos immensely
I love the ingenuity when you don’t have your tools, the amount of times I haven’t brought something! From working factory/ site work ! You pretty much need two of everything 😂 In a situation like locating the drawer front/door on, if you do a slightly oversized hole to the shank of the screw and you can get away with those dome screws ( like here) if you use a washer with the screw it gives you that option of fine adjustment if you need it, rather than a one hit and hope deal 👍🏻 ( you can nip screws enough that they’re holding but you can still move it into perfect alignment, then tighten) Come up great 👍🏻 bet that’s for the love interest, that’s always when the universe conspires against you! When an hrs work for a ‘favour’ turns into a nightmare 😂👍🏻
🫣 sorry to mention it Ollie but at 3.45 on your video, i did the same thing 22 years ago but the blades caught the front of the timber and threw across the workshop and my middle finger went in to the blades and i lost 10mm off it, I always have the guard covering the blades since then.
Sorry to hear that Jim, I assume your hands were near or behind the blade, so it pulled your hand towards it? It'll happen somquick.your just a passenger so I'd always keep hands the right side of it.
@@BradshawJoineryi was doing just what you were doing, pushing the timber with my hand the timber flew back and i fell forward, according to the insurance company 16 slices in 1/10 of a second, nice holiday in Florida from the payout 😊
Spent a lot of time yesterday marking out an m d f panel to inset a Tv screen and some inset shelves all going fine then last cut in a moment of non concentration I cut the line from the edge in not within the opening ( if you know what I mean ) scrap ,what a bummer no more material so that’s tomorrow mornings work from what was going to be a simple Saturday morning ,sometimes the little simple jobs are the trickiest
ok. managed to guess the original kit on website but their helpline can me send your part number. weirdly they have no drawings or dimensions. would you mind letting me know overall bin width as my unit internal cabinet width is 265mm and I'm guessing is same as your standard 300mm cabinet?
Don't let the landlord see this video. Even when you do improvements for them they will still insist you caused damage. Any excuse to keep the damage deposit.

Good afternoons work. Don't know about DIY - not many Diy enthusiasts have a Domino! Cheers. Jim
Neat job and a cunning little shelf to keep all the bin bags in the right place!
Je m'attendais à une séquence érotique🫨
Hope you have left enough room for the bin bag, satisfying upload….😀👍

Now you just need a pull-out recycling bin 😮
Thanks for the vid. You may have inspired me to do the same.

Neat little project! Nice to see your imagination coming to the fore to solve tool shortages 😊
yeah! i think made a better job than if i had jigsawd it out to be fair haha

We all make mistakes the man who never made a mistake never made anything
I’ve used rail saw for same thing think it’s safer but great project
Great work. What species of timber is that
Thankyou, it's tulipwood, aka poplar
Smart

Just needs a couple of finishing coats to seal it up .
excellent solution. exactly what i need. can't find the hafele 503.20.582 anywhere though. where did you get yours from?
Thanks, it was a damaged part that was replaced part of a vauth sagel.kit

That's it you see, diy men need the little tools, 😂
A great little project and very enjoyable to watch. Thanks! _P.S. Using Cripps as clickbait in your thumbnails now? or would that be Cripps bait?_ 😂🤣
Why the gap above the door?
just how the rest of it is, none of the margins are even close to good lol
You dish washer looks more like a small portable washing machine for cloathes. Never seen that in America for some reason.
Better than Howdens
“Proper DIY”, my arse! A jointer, bandsaw, planer, domino etc 😂😂😂 still, you’ve given me an idea for a useless 300mm base unit in my kitchen.
I enjoyed this type of video much more than your green oak series , this is Mateus Wandell like!! Excellent. And all for rubbish!
Mademoiselle mmmmm😊
Click bait got him good
Neat! .....and 2 months rent you won't have to pay 😁
Might get fined for smashing the back out the unit haha
👍👍👍
👍
"Do not try this ever" then goes about telling you exactly how to do it!
Let’s hope your landlord doesn’t watch your videos, they might not be too happy about you smashing their back in 😉
😂😂🤣 quite likely they will, I'd be happy with the bin if it was mine.
I think I can get it back to original fairly easily though. 🤣😬
@@BradshawJoinery I know, I was going to say backdoor, but thought that would be to obvious a pun 🤣
