I tasted the Thalappakatti Biryani in Chennai once. The Mutton Biryani was awesome. No other biryani can compete with.
My one and only favorite briyani. I was worked in chennai 2015 to 2021. Every week i use to go thalapakattu (Vandaloor restaurant). Really amazing taste 😋

Not both. Pulav are mostly bland in taste. But most of the south indian home made biriyani are cooked like pulav but tastes more like biriyani, coz of spices and keeping it on dum for last few minutes.
