I like how many things you can do with FreeCad, your videos are pretty clear, I like the cursor pointer easy keep track on a mobile screen.

Excellent! Simple, quick, accurate. I really like the lower right icons showing the mouse buttons. Thanks for explaining each step BEFORE you take the action. 😀

Thanks a lot! I've been designing some keys for a Olivetti retrocomputer and this tutorial unlock me some problematic issues.

Thanks for specifying the attachment information at 2:21 the other videos don't explain this and just use different planes.

Mathcodeprint, thanks for the video. it has helped me do what I was trying to figure out....but I am still stuck.
I want the print you are making in the video but on the large size of the "funnel" I would like to put 2 25MM fans blowing threw the small side. I cant seem to get the 2 fan holes. can you do a short video showing how to do this. ?
    Thanks. CO

Very nice video. How do you evaluate the volume of the loft? Can you export it into the spreadsheet?

I don't think there is an non-code way but here is the basic code:
      obj = App.getDocument("Unnamed").getObject("Body")
      obj.Shape.Volume
Anything the is a "Shape" will have this property.
You can use this i a spreadsheet workbench cell: .Shape.Volume
In the spreadsheet workbench you can export to csv

I don't see the Position, x,y,z in the bottom left hand corner? How do you get those parameters to show up?

I am on 0.19 Rev#: 24276(Git); Release date, 2021/03/11, on Win Pro 10 64bit. I am able to create each Sketch as you point out but when I attempt to move the Sketch001(inside box) using the Position Z, I can't input numbers to move the box out. There are no symbols on the right side of the line to move up or down. Would you have any idea what could be causing this? In fact, I have attempted to use other videos on Loft and I get the same results.

Thank youuuuu so much! I've got frustated because when I hit loft, it shows error: Recompute failed! Please check report view. But you said "just ignore it" and bam, it works fine, I still can create the loft ha ha

How do I loft one 3D body to a second 3D body?

Try lofting a tubular part. This requires sketches with two rectangles and one is inside the other. I was using loft to create a rectangular tube which varied in dimension along its length. It worked well except at one section where the inner rectangle and outer rectangle crossed over at one loft section of the loft which made an apex in that section of a solid I wanted to 3d print. I really puzzled for hours trying to eliminate it. Eventually i found the reason. Freecad dies not loft double shapes via inner and outer shapes but it lofts double enclosed sketches in the order you create them. 😂😂😂. Wow. This was not obvious to me.

I'm a newbie to freecad, but have made a few parts, then crafted them on my 3d printer. I gather you know a lot about freecad, and thanks for teaching, but I had no idea why you were doing what you were doing. Your cursor was flying all over the place, and eventually, after listening carefully, watching carefully, and trying to follow along several times, I just gave up. I guess that despite having a post graduate degree, I'm just not quick and smart enough for your channel.

No, lol. I try to go slower but I am so easily distracted I forget. I often get frustrate by fast videos on other subjects. I tend to keep my finger on the space bar to pause. You can also slow down a video. I think using or just the speed drop down
My two biggest issues/complaints are speed and mouse eradic behavior. You are in good company ☺️
