Dude… super simple process that gets the job done. I’ve been looking at booking software etc but this method seems more familiar and FREE. Thanks for sharing!
This really was reassuring as it was helpful. I’m a small artist but I ask all the questions you mentioned in a dialogue through dm. It’s easier when someone has the information ready to begin with but I want to provide the most help to my clients if they’re new or have gray areas in need of some guidance. I didn’t want to come off prestigious since I’m a small artist but I now see it’s just professional. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the advice! I’ve been struggling sorting through DMs and messages. Procrastinating making an actual process, but you broke it down so simple. Much appreciated 🙏
love this , could u give tips for realism tattoos and shading , do u use grey wash or black ink, And just adjust depth and saturation of the area if using full black ink
Hi! A question I have is how did you find what kind of tattooing style you liked best? And how did you learn to tattoos those styles? Was it just practice makes perfect, TH-cam videos, Pinterest and references? Thanks a bunch!
Hi. Thanks for doing this. Cool practical vid. I recently finished a year and a half traditional apprenticeship (which means I'm mostly self taught but had to clean a lot of garbage and mop floors). I left the shop and doing it on my own and I agree the communication is very cumbersome and annoying. So Let me get this straight. We make a google form and then put it on our website for clients to read/fillout. If they fill it out, where does it go? (I've never used forms). Our email? Will our website have a way to route the forms to where we want? Can it be done on FB or Instagram? Thanks and good job making it on your own!!!
Hi!!!! Great questions, if you make a form on Google forms on the account you use for business related work, it’ll make the form and you can click the 3 dots in the upper right corner to “get pre-filled link” from there it’ll take you to an example of what your clients would see. You hit “copy link” and you can paste that wherever. I paste mine in my Instagram bio when I’d like to open my form, but you could put the link anywhere. Whoever clicks on the link and fills it out will be added to the list of forms collected. You just sign in to Google forms, find the one that you made and it’ll show you all of the responses. I always hit “individual responses” and it shows me each individually filled out form in chronological order. I hope this makes a little more sense !!!! You can limit the form to take a certain amount of submissions, or you can just take the link out of your bio/website when you do not want anymore submissions. I typically book about 2 months at a time and will make a new form for each booking round. Lmk if you have any other questions!!!
Thank you for the thoughtful reply! I've watched a lot of vids of technique but trying to work on the business end now. I think vids like this could distinguish you from other artists making vids (just like we are told specialization will help our tattoo career). Now you just need to make more videos!!!
I typically put the link in my instagram bio and then just take it down when I feel like the form has enough submissions, I hope this answers your question!
So so so helpful, thank you ! How do you decide how much to charge for personal projects ? i'm curious to learn more about pricing, thanks love your videos :) !
Yes !!! I think it depends on if you are planning to do an apprenticeship or not. Either way, push yourself with art. Start playing with finding style if you haven’t already, experiment with all mediums to see what sparks creativity. Spend a lot of time learning about tattoo history, and then about all of the processes that go into tattooing. Knowing these ahead of time will really boost your start. Good luck!!💌
15 less visible tattoos but I am certainly tattooed, I guess that comes with being very young and waiting to book with artists from around the world, I wish I could collect them sooner ! I was also on an accutane treatment which prevents me from being able to receive ink for over a year. I prefer less judgmental clients anyways so I’m sure I wouldn’t be a great fit for you ! =)
Editing error at 5:31 ,,, oops ! 😵💫

So why did u leave your private studio to work at someones else's shop?
love it!
Do you have the Google forms available for anyone to click fill out and send to you or do you have to personally send a link to them to fill out?
