Words cannot describe how amazing this man is. He's been officially added to my bucket list of dancers to take workshops from (The others being Rachel Brice and Zoe Jakes).

He makes me want to smother him with hugs and adoration. He also inspires me to keep practicing to be a better dancer. I've never seen anyone put so much heart, soul, and fun into such fluid motion. It's like he's making the music instead of just dancing to it, and that's how I describe him to everyone. What a sweetheart at the end!

Some girls daydream about One Direction. But then, they aren't belly dancers. So they don't look for videos to use as examples. So, they never ever see Illan. Which is just sad, 'cause he's a hundred times better than any teen pop idol -- and he only dances! I love this. :D

This performance seems to me more contemporary dance than tribal, actually most of the performances in Tribal Fest (except for our universal love ones, such as RB, FCBD, ML...) looks more of this kind. What are your opinions? I'm curios. What does people think about tribal turning into something different than what Tribal Tribal means.
Everything evolves : ). there would be no tribal fusion if belly dance had never evolved. Its interesting to see what new dancers bring into bellydance. Dance needs a primordial soup somewhere for evolution. I like the founders mentioned above especially. But younger folks coming on to the scene cant all be carbon copies of the origional classics. To keep it interesting, dancers need to experiment, stretch the mind and be creative. Tribal fusion would not exsist today if the founders had not .
