I got mine 2 days ago. Am blown away by the sound and the voices, on my previous keyboard I only ever played piano, but here, all the sounds are so great that I'm finding myself play all of them.
I enjoy these reviews. Wonderful playing. One suggestion: when the different settings are being selected, it would be nice to see text on-screen of what options/sounds are being presented.
I have had mine for one week now very very pleased with the sound the ES 520 performs. For the price ,I strongly recommend this piano for beginners you cant go wrong. But I wish Kawai would include a Kawai dust cover in with the price. Alan from ITALY
I just purchased an ES520 and all of they keys below C2 have a super cheap, plastic typewriter like clicking sound. The rest of the board is great and sounds are nice. Not sure if it's the key bed or issues with the case/build but it ruins the playing experience so sending it back.
Can Bluetooth also be used to connect wireless headphones for silent practice? Or can the ES520 only act as a receiver and play BT audio out of its speakers?
I believe the bluetooth in the es520 is only for incoming audio through the speakers, and outgoing MIDI signals. Bluetooth tends to have an audio delay anyway- it's not a problem when listening to a recording, but if you were playing live while listening to yourself on wireless headphones, you might find that you you were hearing yourself an 8th or 16th note behind. Better to use wired headphones even if it were a feature.

I have to say you guys pump out videos quickly but no depth, old stories repeated over and over...did you read the specs and high light the new features? Not mentioning the remote ,blue tooth features, same song play again, not getting too many people watching anymore, professional people don't do well compared with amature reviewing or even uk sites .....

Hi John, how do you feel about the RHll, does it feel more like an acoustic piano or a keyboard (light weighted)? Thanks

Glad to finally see a U.S.-based review of the ES-520. Thanks, guys!
Now, on to the big enchilada, the ES-920. Can't wait for that review! :-)
Belated Happy Birthday Ted!
I might get the ES520 or even the ES920 so this video was great to watch to confirm my purchase.

I think i need es120 for more affordable price
It’s RHC2, not RH2, it doesn’t have let off simulation.
