    Great video Bradley. You’re definitely one of my favorite anglers to watch because you show us the “good, the bad and the ugly” and not all the fluff. Appreciate your honesty.

      @Matt Orschell I'm not sure what video you watched, but hopefully one day you're
      able to experience the same type of "professionalism" this idiot demonstrated
      in his own video. You definitely wouldn't be commending him, but hey, what does
      that matter, right?

    • @mattorschell275

      @@sickofidiots4095 so your calling Bradley Hallman an Idiot? How do you think it should of been handled???

    • @sickofidiots4095
      @sickofidiots4095 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@mattorschell275 Idiot is putting it mildly. "BULLY", "ASSHOLE" and thoughtless MORON" would be other terms,
      to name just a few.
      As far as how I would have "handled it", it wouldn't have involved bullying a fellow competitor with my demands and then wedging my boat against his in a 25 foot wide creek.

    I believe this situation was handled very professionally and is a great example of good sportsmanship! A good way to split the creek up between two boats of anglers allowing all parties to have an equal shot at the area that is about to be fished! Kudos to you and the gentleman operating the other boat! I believe everyone could learn a lil something about true sportsmanship from this little encounter!

    The reason I like these kinds of videos is because it's so realistic..I'm a regular average joe nonprofessional everyday fisherman, and I tend to beat myself up when I have really tough days..but guess what, that's fishing..and this may sound negative (definitely not my intention), but it's somewhat refreshing to actually SEE when pros have those kinds of days on the pond..I appreciate the transparency..go get em on the next one

    You handeled it great. I live on the water on Rayburn and counted a few dozen boats fishing the cove i live on... my house is almost exactly between 2 creeks. I wondered how cordial anglers would be to each other with the crowding going on in tight spaces. Well done.

    • @BradleyHallmanFishing
      @BradleyHallmanFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Allison Murphy Pope Could be very true. First if guys are fishing everyday they really see special things like this that most never get to experience. They don’t bite because they are not there. The reasons I don’t know to many options. Here are some. Sun, clouds, current, no current, wind direction you get my point. Could be the just circle ⭕️ and it’s a two day circle.

    This footage is perfect, no need to focus on cameras when it comes to making money in a tournament. I work as a handyman and people always say I should video stuff for IG and TH-cam, but it takes way too much time to mess with it. Eventually I will, but for now it's too frustrating to deal with. I make money getting jobs done and getting out of there... "How to" fishing videos seem like where you will get channel views, that and clowning around on Scott Martin's videos. I came here from watching Scott Martin videoing y'alls house groups. I found B Lat from watching how to fish a Ned rig.

    Bradley, not sure what the other guy said before you said "you can't block the creek". The end result was handled well by both parties. What would have happened if the creek was 20 , 30 , 40 yards wide? Would you just go around and not ask if he was fishing the back?

    • @BradleyHallmanFishing

    When he said, “you know that’s where I was headed” and had a little bit of base in his throat, and you said, “well then, go to the back”. That is how its done... quick and to the point! With him being the first there, u gave home the choice, but had you not called his bluff, he would have hit every high percentage spot on his way back and you would have watched him catch them. I’ve been in both scenarios. Well done, and tournament anglers can learn from this. Nobody was in the wrong, but sometimes you’ve got make a man shit or get off the pot. Meaning, either go on back or I will. He did and you fell in accordingly. If I’m on his shoes, I might would try and fish my way back as well until called on it. So, you guys handled it well imo.

      Had lots of feedback obviously on this video and everyone has their opinions. You sir explained exactly and I mean exactly my thoughts. Man, got a better boat draw the other day and had a guy pull in two docks in front of me. I was burning a buzzbait and he was shaky heading the docks. I was literally going under the walkways. I pulled up and asked him you want me to go around or you want to pick it up? We both agreed I should go around.... I think the biggest thing is being vocal on your intentions and being nice so both parties get as close to what they want as possible. You handled it great thorough in my opinion. Confrontations happen, it's part of fishing big boat tournaments. It's all about how you talk to the other angler.👍🏼

    Handled like the true pro that you are....... Your statement that the creek went way back is the difference maker.....!!!! Had a similar issue with a road bed all the way across a creek with just a small opening the only way to get through....... Dude was fishing the road bed way away from the opening..... and I wanted in the creek beyond the roadbed...... He ran to the open on high TM and made a cast right in front of me as Idled through.... said he was fishing that spot..... I did not handle it as professionally as you..... I just wanted in to the back end of creek.....but the guy was NOT fishing that spot when I started through....OBTW i went to the back end of the creek.... :) It happens..... just part of the deal..... Thanks for sharing....

    Honestly I think you did the right thing asking and I have found on a smaller lake with a lot of creeks and I would have approached the same way.i thought both of y’all showed good respect to each other..there’s been many times in wider creeks I’m one bank and the fishing the other and I think main thing is just talking to the other angler as u did if there is problems. I’ve been offshore fishing and had a bit literally almost bumpin mine...called guy runs tourney and he was only like or so away and told him leave since I was there first but 99pct fisherman will respect if u ask same as passing if I come up on not and where heading towards each other on bank I’ll offer to go around...respect goes along way...thought u handled it well

    No issue with what you did, my club has rules about blocking fishable water also. Thought you both handled it well

      @@BradleyHallmanFishing like I said, thought you especially handled it well. I likely would not have been quite as pleasant. But I'm a club guy lol

    Brad as always ... you handled it as a pro ...
    I always love your content because it’s 100% accurate and REAL !!!
    Can’t help but think when practice kicks ass and fish day is tough ... go smaller . That’s when that damn 6”10 low rider with a compact Jig gets bit ! LOL But seriously.... I’m still trying to figure out the difference in the Expert 6”10 finesse and the LR 6”10 finesse????
    But I’m damn well gonna buy a Low Rider 6”10 finesse!!!
    Now what do you recommend I do with the Expert ???? Pitching heavier jigs and soft plastics???
    You still kick ass Bro !
    Love to watch you fish 👍

    Man Toledo & Rayburn is the like that, you can tear em up one day and the next maybe only get a cpl bites. They are the best 2 lakes in the country in my opinion but they can also humble you you real quick lol, awesome video bro, keep em comin!!!🎣🎣🎣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    I didn't have an issue with the way it was handled. I'd love to get the opportunity to fish with you someday. But, I'd also like to see you make the Elites. Good Luck with that!

    If he'd had an anchor out, going around him would have been a no brainer. In my opinion, him having his power pole set is the same as having anchored. He intended to sit there as long as no one challanged him.
    You gave him the fair option and he chose to move deeper in. No harm, no foul. Y'all handled it as well as could be expected.

    I thought you handled that well Bradley Hallman. Lesson would be, for the other guy, go to the juice, first. You can’t in a 223 boat derby commandeer an entire creek.

      @BradleyHallmanFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree but if I felt I was the first one in I would have probably fished the mouth if nothing more than to see if I was the only one or if more boats came in. It could be important if you start catching them on when to leave. Thanks for the feedback.

    Keeping it real man. We appreciate it. How do you handle the emotional swings when a tournament totally doesn’t go the way you expect and you just have to go do it again?

    All that money on the line and field of that size, there will be conflicts. There’s conflicts in a lot smaller events . I think it was well handled by both parties, discussed with a compromise.
