OMG! I do the exact same! If work hard on something and it doesn't come out right I almost always have to start something else that I feel good about before I lay down . If not I just won't sleep until I feel as if I've redeemed myself in some way shape or form. You did an amazing job on. It's obvious that you are a phenomenal artist who takes your talents and craft serious! Many blessings to you, this is truly ART!

Thank you so much for your kind words!! ❤️ I can definitely relate to not bring able to sleep until I've redeemed myself, but the other side of that if that the more tired i get, the more displeased i am with my work 😅. It's hard but so important to find a balance.

Maria, this was such an inspiring video! I've had so many different insecurities concerning my art . . . only a couple of years ago, I developed severe anxiety, which made me want to quit art altogether. I always got so nervous whenever I'd draw, and rarely finished anything. My mental health has improved since then, but I definitely still feel that discouragement pretty often, especially recently. This video made me so happy to know that I'm not alone in these feelings, and that it's okay to have days where I don't make art I'm 100% happy with. It's also okay to know that my skills aren't where they want to be--but I keep going because I know that one day, I'll get where I want to be. "Done is better than Perfect." ~ So true.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I hope you never give up, and that you continue making beautiful art, and don't feel discouraged when you might make a piece that you don't love as much. This world needs more people who stay positive like you.
