this is siiiiiiick, not many riddim tracks go this hard on vibes. sounds great at 2x speed to, i love how house music sounds at 140 BPM, all my favorite tracks i've made are like that
there's actually two ways to make stereo bass work... you just take a mid side eq and filter out the stereo info of the sub but for only the first frequency, leaving the sub mono but the rest of the harmonics stereo. The other way which is what i do is to make everything as stereo as the bass or at least moderately, that way when you play it in mono not only the bass gets less powerful, but eberything looses volume uniformly, that way it doesn't really matter if you lose loudness cuz it'll still sound more or less balanced in itself. My golden rule is to not compare the mono version with the stereo one cuz it will always sound worse no matter what, just listen to both of them as two independent mixes and make them both sound alright even if they are different.
I think that the rules exist to be broken bro, well, to people who likes to live in the industry they can follow the rules they want (im not gonna discuss about Speakers, headphones, phase problems, idgaf) all of us can do whatever we want about Art, art is an expresion of our soul = ) BTW I FUK1N LOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS TRACK MAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNN

@@roordubsi think people hear "dont make ur sub stereo" and think "dont make the low end stereo, even though your ear is generally better at getting a sense of width in the low end, at least until a certain point, then for whatever reason it loses any sense of width

actually, if u make the high end of the bass stereo but not the actual bass frequencies, u'll be okay. this is what a lot of people i know do
