One fact about Jihyo that wasn’t mentioned in the guide is that she trained under JYP for 10 years starting from 8 years old.

Additional fun fact about Mina: two of her traits that the guide mentioned are in fact connected. Her "Penguin" nickname partially came from how she walks with her feet turned outwards (almost like a penguin waddle); A walk that developed from her ballet training.
Also, did that video not give background on why Mina is also called Sharon? It was kinda important otherwise it's so random. (For Kess & Han)Lots of idols get assigned western stage names but in Mina's case it's literally her legal middle name after she was born in San Antonio, Texas. So she was born a U.S citizen and lived in Texas until she was three when her family moved back to Japan. Because I don't think Japan allows dual citizenship she had to renounce her US citizenship recently.
A second meaning for Sharon is that it's her wild'in Texas girl alter ego. She's arguably one of the most introverted; if not the most introverted girlgroup idol in the industry, yet when she breathes American air (Twice on tour in North America) a different side of her sometimes comes out - Sharon.

My wife and I were never into kpop, then we heard Twice. We loved their music instantly, then we saw them in concert, then we started watching their offstage content like Time To Twice and vlives, and now they're basically part of our family. 😄 They are so charming and genuine, you just can't help but like them.

That’s what I’m talking about!!! I’m a single dad and my 18 yo son showed me kpop about 6 yrs ago. I discovered TWICE on my own and been a ONCE ever since. Took kids to see the girls on Georgia last year. Best concert I’ve ever been to. I love these girls like daughters. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

We are enjoying this dive to TWICE. Jeongyeon went into hiatus because of health conditions. She got hit on the leg by a horse, diagnosed with HERNIATED DISC on her neck and the medications caused her body to change and her mental anxiety. (MINA also had mental anxiety.) But the company and the girls stood by her. Now she is back!!! Even leader JIHYO was fat-shamed before in the Kpop world! NAYEON has a dangerous stalker up until now. Oh, the struggles these girls went through! TWICE is precious!!!

Mina is like my ultimate kpop bias she is the epitome of a comfort person! And is extremely talented hard working and cute af. one thing I wish this guide would’ve mentioned was that she is a Chaeyoung fan I mean at this point it’s hard to deny it. Michaeng are cute and extremely soft together.
Formula of Love is a great Twice album. Jeongyeon had terrible disk injury, went on hiatus. Made big comeback w/group in U.S.A. What a welcome she was given by U. S. Onces. Twitter campaigns went crazy supporting her comeback. Lots of weight gain and criticism due to need for steroids/medication. Lyrics of Feel Special, m/v, relate to this for her and Mina and others. Mina had a hiatus too due to anxiety on another occasion. (Michaeng)!
I have this speculation that jype calls both incidents "anxiety" but the truth is they developed injuries - jeongyeon's slip disk and mina's knee

@@charlecabs4538 or the anxiety could of risen due to the said injuries. It takes a toll on you when you can't perform at your 100% or knowing that you may make an injury worse. In mina's case specifically, there were fancams of the girl having an anxiety attack on stage (back before anyone knew what was going on). I highly doubt jype was lying about that.
We name her, God Jihyo.... She's a freaking GODDESSES
It is very hard not to love all of them. My bias is Mina, because she stole my heart with her sweet voice and she also very cute.
And when you guys start to react to Time to Twice, you will see a lot more of their personality and how much of a family they are.
The penguin one about Mina is actually more straight forward then it's shown in the guide.. Mina trained as a ballerina for 11 years and therefor walks with her feet pointed out which makes her kinda naturally adorably waddle like a penguin, and it's especially similar when she runs, so her nickname is penguin (and Black Swan for her dancing and elegance)

So, I did not see it mentioned in this guide but Nayeon (the oldest member a 'fake maknae') is sometimes called 'the Rabbit' because of her smile. Her two front teeth are longer than the teeth next to them, it's just one of the many things that makes her so CUTE! She's really spunky the way a rabbit can be. AND, this year is now The Year Of The Rabbit. Some fans were a little bit weirded out when her solo project dropped because it happened before now. lol They did mention Mina's Penguin stuff but they did not mention animal personality traits fro anybody else so far. I have not watched the guide myself so I am seeing it for the first time while you two are reacting to it. Maybe they will show some of that near the end. Luv ya both!

Jeongyeon may remind you of a K-Drama actress because her sister (Gong Seung-yeon) is a famous actress! But she is pretty good in her own, right, too - if you watch Time to Twice: Soulmate you'll see lol. (No hate, I love Jeongyeon - she's my bias wrecker)
They didn’t mention that Jihyo was a trainee at JYP for a very long time. She persevered through all the hard years and is now the perfect leader for Twice.
One reason Jeongyeon might remind you of an actress: her older sister is an actress, Gong Seungyeon, who is good friends with Twice members as well!
Sana is a cute happy sunshine off stage but when she is on stage is a complete different person she a full package of everything

she is an excellent actress ,singer, prankster, beautiful, gorgeous, strong....she is somewhat indisposed due to a neck injury where she had surgery, and then due to anxiety...
she has been criticized for her weight by some ignorant people, not knowing that some medications cause weight gain... she is perfect for them 💕

One of my favourite things about twice is you pair any members together and they have amazing and different chemistry
Important fact they are not a simple group because twice is one of the best girl groups of the third generation and they have won song of the year 3 times, you should see the other guide where they explain better and they are the best selling group, the 9 members are wonderful And what they show on camera is themselves and behind the scenes the same, they are crazy in a good way and indeed they get along more than friends they consider themselves sisters, so much so that many already know what the other needs, normal they have been almost 8 years old, see the other guide, once you enter the world of twice there is no way out because you love 9 although my bias is the baby of the group that is tzuyu and her personality is kind of calm mine but she is funny and very sincere too loves animals, in fact they have dogs and cats
I love Mina a lot. She's so relatable for me. An introvert and a gamer. It's still mind-blowing how she manage to be part of kpop world. I know she suffered from anxiety disorder but she came back stronger. I love all of them but she just had a special place.

As for the question about Momo, she has been failing in her Japanese due to being in Korea for a long time, the fandom even jokes with the fact that she is forgetting her native language.
You mentioned Jeongyeon on looks like a k drama actress. Her older sister is a k drama actress so maybe that's why you seen the resemblance of them two. Her sister name is Gong Seung-yeon.

If you guys want to know the name of every member who doesn't know Twice yet, "Twice Song" is a good place to start.
To explain why Momo struggles with her Japanese even though she is from Japan: 1. she has lived in Korea/has been speaking Korean for so long sometimes her brain short circuits when she has to switch back to another language 2. if I recall correctly, Momo speaks a certain dialect of Japanese with her family but when doing press in Japan she has to speak in standard Japanese which is a little different, therefore she stumbles over her words sometimes
3:57 Regarding *Mina and penguins* since the video didn't really explain it.... Basically, it's a nicknamed she's gotten and received because she has a *_waddle_* to the way she walks casually. Her feet naturally point outwards and to the side due to years of ballet and stretching. Hence, Mina is known to have a "penguin walk" and a "capitalism walk" (which became a trend/meme when fans first noticed it) which she turns on when required to walk more professionally (typically during red carpet events). 🐧🐧
Loving your reactions. Once you come in the twiceland, there's no way out. Nine different personalities blend in one another. Their contents are fun, their discography is immaculate, and they were formed with talents + star quality in mind. Their literally the best girl group I have ever stanned.
Momo struggles with her japanese because she”s been living for so long in South Korea. (I know Sana and Mina don”t have that problem ....Momo is special ). She has said multiple times that she now thinks in korean so it”s difficult for her to switch to japanese (she even said during her rookie years in front of her parents that she worries she will lose much of her japanese language...her parents said so too 🤣).
Jeongyeon had hiatus due to her health.. as you can see at some point she gained weight and size due to her medication but now she's recovering and doing better.. Mina also had hiatus due to anxiety but came back during Feel Special era.. strong girls!
btw Nayeon and Jihyo do most of the adlibs. Can’t wait for part 2. Nayeon miss bunny is my bias because she’s hilarious lol and I love her voice. Also, Mina kinda waddles like a penguin so that’s why it’s her nickname they forgot to add.

My biases are Jeongyeon and Jihyo (I call them 2J) and my bias reccer is Nayeon
Another thing about the J line is that they all speak Kansai dialect (especially Momo and Sana) and so when Momo needs to speak something for Twice activities she’s usually supposed to speak in “proper” Japanese, and she’s not good at it, on top of often forgetting some Japanese, so she ends up sounding like she can’t speak Japanese 😅
They don't call her GOD Jihyo for nothing! 👑👑👑
As someone who mainly got into kpop through twice and has been stanning since end of 2017 it's so interesting new people get into them
Aside from their amazing personality, they have such a beautiful bond as a group as well. They love and take care of each other. If you love them individually, you’ll gonna love them all together just as much.

Not only is she breathtakingly beautiful, but her vocals in the group are amazing and her introverted personality is both charming and relatable.

I suggest after you check more title tracks(cry for me, I can't stop me, Alcohol free, talk that talk,fancy ect) that you do members melody projects episodes (those are projects to showcase more of the girls individual talents and charms + it's like gifts for fans)

What I've seen from Japanese onces on Twitter is that Momo doesn't struggle with Japapanese in general, it's that she was struggling to speak "standard" Japanese (without her regional dialect slipping in).
That being said, as a bilingual I can definitely attest to getting a bit tongue-tied in first language or forgetting a word in the moment, so maybe Momo goes through that too lol.
Momo has been my bias since I first saw the "Fancy" video shortly after its release. Boo and Dobby are both Momo's dogs.
Mina is called a penguin since her walk is very similar to a penguin's (because of her ballet)
twice is my ult group, i saw their show in oakland last february. the only regret i have with them is not getting into them sooner. they really are just an incredibly special group

Twice is the most successful K-pop girl group in the history of K-pop. They are Korea’s National girl group, Asia’s #1 girl group and hold more industry awards then any other K-pop girl group. They are on a level that no other group can touch. They’re also very unique in K-pop as they’re basically a family, they’re dorky, chaotic, so sweet and very humble. At this point in their career they are the genre and can kill any concept. Get ready for tonnes of joy to come into your life. When you start reacting to Time To Twice please start at the beginning to see the progression of the series as references are usually made from previous episodes. Fun fact. When Covid struck Twice wanted a way to connect with fans stuck at home. They came up with Time To Twice and it has been a huge hit spanning more than 100 episodes. Their personalities shine so bright during these episodes so be prepared to laugh until you cry because they are just amazing human beings in addition to being a stunning idol group.

Twice is actually the best , They are a group that even on their 8th year, they maintain so humble and very kind. The 9 girls treat each member as a family and they love each other so much. I'm an old gen xer who discovered Kpop at the start of the COVID lockdowns. And Twice was an oasis of sunshine in that time. And still are! They're kind and bright and the fact they share that with Onces is a gift. As silly as this notion might sound, they simply add happiness to the world - through some damn entertaining pop music! PS: Jihyo: During comeback showcase stage events, she just keeps it all flowing - a true leader for sure!
Mina is a huge nerd and we love her for it, she loves playing games and legos, stays mostly at home and radiates calm energy in everything she does, also has entirety of Twice whipped for her 👹
