Never use a shovel on a pit. It’s a good way to chip the pipe and or cement.

Tell me about it mate, UK government trying to save water, it's a joke. In the Uk, you have to flush the WC twice to get the stuff to go, Then people wonder why their pipes keep getting blocked up, not enough pressure to push it through.

Why did you leave all that sediment between up stream manhole and second . The debris you had to plunger down the drain gully. . Water was just flowing over sediment left a bottom of pipe . You can see standing water in last manhole when fitting cover .
