  • Hey guys!
    New Year planning season is here and I am very excited for 2023. I hope you enjoy watching the video. Feel free to share your views about the theme in the comments section below. Also, please excuse the poor lighting in the video. I recently switched to a new lighting set up and I am still figuring it out. Thank you guys so much for watching. Wishing you all a beautiful year ahead.
    Sending love and light your way.....
    Soumya ✨

    Oh Godd, I have been searching for this spread just to rewatch and plan for 2024, finally found it. I remade few spreads of yours last year, but couldn't recall from where I used it. Such an excellent set up.

    I would love to know more about your flash cards - it seems like a really useful tool and I’d love to know what prompts you use for monthly and quarterly goals. Love your aesthetic and look forward to future posts.

      Thank you so much! 🤍
      The prompts I used include my wins, gratitude, things that are/aren’t working, highlights. These are the ones in common. The monthly and quarterly review cards have a few more prompts for progress tracking, check in etc. You can screenshot the cards at 9:56 if you wanna go through them all.

    Nice job. Yours stand out. I really like that you have those daily, monthly type cards that you put in the front of your journal. And the flap that kind of keeps it private. I also like that you made your frog guide a journal book mark. Cleaver. Two ribbon usually isn’t enough for me. I love the PickUp Limes channel also. You’re right, I’ll do a What’s my Why page also. You’ve made a mn attractive but functional and minimal spread. Nice job!!

      The flip out page is 24cm x 18cm paper folded in half. The envelope is 12cm x 9cm with a shallow “V” shape cut out. The V is 2.5cms deep. Cut out half inch tabs on 3 sides of the envelope ( as shown at 2:55) so you can fold them back and stick in.

  • @nagachaitanya6187
    @nagachaitanya6187 ปีที่แล้ว

    First of all, this is terrific presentation. TERRIFIC!
    Second of all, you have such a sweet and soothing voice/tone that one cannot help themselves but fall asleep listening to it.
    Thirdly, yet the most important one imo.......Where & How in Gods name did you learn to write that way!!! That is mind blowing, I mean although the doodling isn't complex. the presentation itself is spectacular and visually appealing. Please tell me how do I get myself to do that stuff the way you do it. I know obviously the answer is Consistency and practice but I feel like there's more to it and I would like to know what it is. Because I feel it is impossible for me to get to a point where I can write or present like that but deep down I just want to ignore it and give it a try even If I'm afraid I might fail.
    You just earned yourself a subscriber and the pleasure is mine.

    • @artandalchemy6234
      @artandalchemy6234  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you very much for your kind words! You’re right about the consistency and practice part. Apart from that, have a reference image for your font, and try to look at each letter as simple shapes. For example, a line and an oval for the letter “b”. Also, keeping the letters proportionate is crucial which definitely comes with practice. Use a ruled paper for your lettering practice. Hope this helps!

    This was so relaxing to watch!! I love how you did the grid spacing on a ruler instead of keeping it as a page in your bullet journal. That seems way more user friendly and convenient.
    I do have one question: you do everything in pencil before you go back and do it in pen. Do you go back and erase the excess pencil afterward? If so, what eraser do you use?

      Thank you! 🤍
      The grid spacing ruler is definitely a game changer. I usually don’t bother to erase all the pencil lines. With this journal in particular, I couldn’t erase them as the writing done in fineliners fades away for some reason. The eraser I use is a regular one from Staedtler, nothing fancy.

    Very nice. Simple yet very pretty. What do you do/write for the rest of your journal?? Seems like so many pages left.

    For your key did you take a leaf out of the back of the book? It’s so cute! Same with your ruler page divider?

      Hey! I used a separate cartridge sheet for the key flip out. For the grid spacing ruler though I had to cut a strip from the back for the dots to align properly :)

    Hi, your videos are really nice. Would you mind telling me the name of the fineliner you are using in the video as the link in the description box doesn't work? Thanks :)

      Hey! The fineliners I use the most are Sakura pigma microns, fineliners from Artline and Brustro.
      Also, thank you for bringing this to my notice. I have updated the links :)
