It's the Silent Hill Main Theme, piano version played on a Steinway Grand Piano! .. though we couldn't quite figure out how to open the thing up and get some real sound from it, until after the filming :( this video's full of mistakes also so might as well make a new one some day. This wasn't exactly take 1 though, as stated by the sighing intro ;D wahaha!

2020. Came back to listen to this song.
Not only is it still beautiful... but it reminds me of a point in time that seems so far away now. A time when I was a fresh faced teen who loved piano and was blown away by hearing this on TH-cam. Nothings the same - not TH-cam, not the world, not me. What’s still beautiful is this song and the way he plays it. May that never change. 🙏🏻
Movie soundtracks of pre-2010s are absolute nostalgia bomb... Hits hard when you revisit them after years. I almost cried when I stumbled upon some Resident Evil songs a couple days ago.

Time goes on... was hoping to see a mil by now but I guess not! HA! been hoping for a reboot or such of the SH series, the first three games were such great pieces of art.. I remember back in the days when the ps1 was released and I still own a hardcore led-chipped one as to be able to play pirated games, such as was the fact back in '99 or so while I played this very game on a classic CD-R writable discs (sweden). Really thanks for u guys sticking around, RIP Konami and I hope they bring back the old school horror at some point like Capcom did with the RH series.

It's the official piano arrangment of the main theme from the very first Silent Hill game for the playstation one, from the times when Silent Hill hadn't yet been tainted by the commercial mainstream gaming industry. Glad you like it!

Back in my day(around 2010 in high school) I wanted to learn this song so much but it was so hard trying to find sheet music for it. 11 years later, I got the sheet music and I hope I can finally play it like this guy 🙂 Silent Hill has my favorite music

I'm not sure which I should drool more over, the piano or the pianist..! I always thought that the awesome about Steinways is that no matter what you play, it somehow always feels like you got an entire string orchestra backing you up. You don't need anything else. But then again, that hair...
