I noticed that on Dick’s Sporting Goods, they listed them as the “LeBron 21 Textile”, so that’s very interesting to see! Edit: it looks like DSG put that label on the wrong shoe, but still very interesting!

I love that Chris pointed out the refresh aspect of this colourway because, with brands popping out releases almost daily, I had forgotten nike basketball used to do this right about the end of the regular nba season going into the playoffs. I looked at the new colourways and all I could think was they're just new colourways.
Another great review as always! I agree with Chris on this one. As much as it would suck to never win a chip, the money, influence, and lasting impression would be hard to pass up.
I just returned a pair of the LeBron 21 "Tahitian's" super cool looking shoes. Beware the steal eyelets at the top of the shoe gave me bad blisters on the inside of my ankles. Please try them on first to make sure. My friend also bought a pair and had the same complaint. He said it took about 5 runs to break in. I'm to old for that. Recommend the Curry 24 Splash Jam or the Puma Scoot Pro Nitro. Super comfy. You can just put these on and ball with no break in required. Those are my type of shoes !

Best thing about the “refresh” models is we get that heavy discount on the original model; I liked the LeBron 21 before but LOVED grabbing a pair recently for $80.😉 QotD: I have to say role player, just because it’s how I always see myself. I’m part of a collective with shared goals and reaching the absolute peak of those goals is rewarding in a different way. And yeah, not knowing who KCP is was wild to hear from Chris.😂

Interesting refresh. I was gonna say that layer of plastic doesn’t make it breathable…but then remembered the original had a second layer on top, so never mind. Heat welding those cables does beg the question, were they actually functional in the first place since that stiffer upper from the plastic coat is essentially providing the support. 🤷🏽♂️ As for the question of the day, I agree….from a business and money making standpoint, I’d rather be the star if not superstar player, simply because of everything Chris stated. The leverage and marketing opportunities Weill be abundant and you can parlay that to more because you’ll attain more access….look at what Steph is doing with his production company and his TV shoes he’s produced. The rings are great….look at Robert Horry…he’s got 7 rings, but he’s not making those same moves. I stand corrected….if I’m wrong. 🤷🏽♂️😁

The thing is with the 21s. Unfortunately I had issues with the insoles, making it very tight with a dragon pearl color away and never had that problem with Lebron but I may give it a chance.

I bought the Lebron 20 last year, It was very nice and I've been playing with it once a week. Then recently I didn't play for 2 weeks and when I pulled out the shoe to play I noticed the zoom unit in the heel part bloated. I couldn't use it coz the right shoe was higher than the left one and feels like I'm stepping on a balloon that's about to explode. I haven't encountered this before. It's frustrating. After all, It's a $220 shoe cause it was the Liverpool colorway. I think the Lebron 21s have the same zoom unit as the Lebron 20's. It's a very nice shoe and I love it, but because of my experience, I'm not gonna buy another $200 shoe.
QOTD: I'm with Chris. I'll take the money. I've never really been a fan of the LeBron line. I had a pair of the Air Zoom Generation in wheat when they came out, played in them once or twice, and went back to Air Jet Flights, my favorite shoe I ever played in. Tongue rubs on my shins in a bad way and hurts. I unlaced the top most eyelet and folded the tongue outwards and that kinda helped.

Now, they should take those and turn them into a mid. Those would look sick with a slightly higher ankle not rounded out.

LeBron lines are narrow for me. That's the only issue for me (apart from the hefty price). But I love the swoosh

I bought the Lebron 20 last year, It was very nice and I've been playing with it once a week. Then recently I didn't play for 2 weeks and when I pulled out the shoe to play I noticed the zoom unit in the heel part bloated. I couldn't use it coz the right shoe was higher than the left one and feels like I'm stepping on a balloon that's about to explode. I haven't encountered this before. It's frustrating. After all, It's a $220 shoe cause it was the Liverpool colorway. I think the Lebron 21s have the same zoom unit as the Lebron 20's. It's a very nice shoe and I love it, but because of my experience, I'm not gonna buy another $200 shoe.

I've never really been a fan of the LeBron line. I had a pair of the Air Zoom Generation in wheat when they came out, played in them once or twice, and went back to Air Jet Flights, my favorite shoe I ever played in. I'd wish for a retro of those, but they won't be $90 and they'll blow it on the materials somehow.

The new look lebron 21s aren't terrible but imo they should have given us a discount because the removed stuff from the shoe. Definently deserve a discount considering the 21s are sitting and getting discounted to 50%.
