i used a stone wall to cut out the north side and tricked them into a long walk. bow mans was doing their job until i maxed the economy capabilities. after that you can count as a won battle. sell everything to max the wood whenever you can afford. when the max iron and stone is yours if you defend your self enough to produce a big army that can overrun everything, or a sneak attack with suicide assassins
i prefer to have a massive army and just kill and destroy everything on map before i kill the boss. i enjoy it. like he never existed when annoyed, mace mans and assassins can do the job i love to play with a mass amount of slaves also. whenever i can do it with more joy than struggle i'm old and tired from struggling in games and making my life harder than it should
his strategy isnt that good, but if you only want to beat this mission.. just enclose the keep with wall (no gate) then shoot two volleys at the archers on top of his keep and at the camp that spawn arabian archers. The lions will do the rest, lol. If you want to beat it in a more legit way do the first step, so the lions don't attack you but do not kill the archers on his keep, then as soon as lions clear take out his closest arabic posts first, then build a wall and several towers on the top of the hill with archers and fire throwers to take care of all of the swordmen.. this way you do not have units entering your castle and destroying your buildings. You can also use several units to lure the lions to your opponent faster.
