I found a much cheekier way of doing this level and it does actually work. Build a wall around your keep, get your archers to shoot one lion each to rile them up, they all head for Lionhearts castle so air strike his troops as much as you can then the lions kill the lord. Doesn’t always work as smoothly as that but when it does you complete the level in about 1 minute.
omg this worked like magic. I would voli rain arrows on his keep and his arabian archer outpost after getting the lions to run at him and also send in as many assassins to sneak around the lions and climb over his walls to kill him if the lions do not finish the job, but the lions killed him first lol.
why i didn't think about this before..in many other stages i used to send arabian horses if i think that the enemy is weak at the beginning of the match Gg
While selecting barracks you press 4 (if you want to rally crossbowmen) and click where you want your units to rally. You can also do this with mercenary posts, engineers' guilds or even tunnellers and cathedrals basically any unit production building.
its a five mins stage, move your stockpile to the oasis above the keep. produce arabian archers cover the oasis area with wall and a gate. place archers on the wall, move king into thet area..Then comes the aggressive defense by making 20 fire ballista. Game is all urs : )
When I played this mission I thou its easiest battle ever just killing zone for all things that lionheart has then when you tired just go and finish him easy peasy

Yeah, and use arrows to kill lionhearts archers, so lions can easily reach inside his castle

If you set rallypoint for assassins in his keep and spam from the start then you win in 40 sec.
How were you able to set a waypoint for the barrack troops in the beginning?
