  • I picked up some of the most difficult stones I've tumbled to date from the local rock shops in Montague, Page's. They were a fun tumble, despite the difficulty, and I'm glad to be able to show you the results.
To see the jewelry I make from these stones and more, head to my website and click "Catalog" near the top of the page.

Have yet to tumble bloodstones. They seem great for Christmas with some nice Christmas colors in them. It is a always a bummer when one has to go through stage one over and over and over !! They are beautiful in my eyes. Great job 😊

Thank you! They were definitely very stubborn. I have some agates that I'm working on now that have taken even longer in stage 1, but will hopefully turn out even better.

Ken, these are so pretty! I understand tumbling definitely takes time and just really never know how they will turn out. You're right, that warm glow is lovely. Been posting videos and keeping my finds for a possible Santa present of a tumbler? LOL. You have inspired me...whenever I get a tumbler, Im sure Ill be reaching out. Take care 😊😊

Them are Beautiful Creations! I usually take the Rougher Stones / Rocks on the Cabbing Wheels And now that WE have Purchased Flat Laps for our 6" ***CAB THE KING*** CABBING MACHINE it will save on our Wheels. BTW - FYI the 80grit flat lap is a BEAST compared to the 80grit wheel. We purchased Flat Laps Identical to the Cabbing wheels that came with the Caber. Do you have a WEB? THEM ROCKS ARE BEAUTIFULLY GORGEOUSLY GORGEOUS CREATIONS!!! I can only Imagine the Glory/Sheen they had before the fall. MANY BLESSINGS UPON YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!

I use a 50 grit "flat lap" and you're not wrong, it'll take material off quick. Unfortunately, I don't have an online store up, yet. I have two more craft shows to get through, and then I plan to start moving onto the online platform. I'll announce when it's up on an episode of Friday's Rock. Thank you for the blessings, and many more for you and yours.

Bloodstone is like fancy jasper it takes an eternity last batch for me was 12 weeks in grit one. The tumblers sound like a batch plant for cement lol!

Yeah, the motor was going out on the main unit. It's died since, which sucks, but on the bright side: it's much quieter! 🤣
