    I am here, because today in my lawn, tiny prinia chicks came out of the eggs :)
    They made the nest on a small plant so everything is visible. I am protecting them from cats & rain by keeping the grill around the plant. Previously I thought its Sunbird or tailor bird but a bird expert got me correct.
    Can some expert advise me if I need to remove grills if they start flying in 10-15 days or so.

    This is the nest that I had been saw in my backyard mango tree 's
    leaves . But I was unable to see the inner room of the nest . I just able to see white colour of the nest . I saw the bird it seems to be very tiny . I had been afraiding becoz I saw one chameleon (giant lizard) was roaming around mango tree . If it is climbes it will eat the bird's egg ??

    • @gkdiscovery

      It could eat...but I am not sure. And I can understand your feelings, but experts suggests we should not interfere in Nature :)

    hello just 3 days ago i saw ashy prinia birds ready to fly ...about 4 babies...but i of them died while trying to fly...it built its nest in a big pipe kept in our terrace,extremely hot...what i saw is that there like thousand of ant babies in the nest ..out of panic i displaced the dead bird and displaced all other 3 birds nearby box ...the mother bird saw me...dn two of bird did flew..from my terrace ...i don't know if they are safe...but one died today while trying to fly...i am really feeling bad ..the mother bird after my interruption in keeping dead bird away never came back in 2 days...i feel responsible for the death of today's bird...what went wrong can you tell me??

      Same thing happened with me. Bird hatched eggs. My son was watching the bird hatching the eggs. Now It did not come for two days. Don't know how to care the left eggs. Birds get afraid by human disturbance and the leave the nest permanently. Feeling sad

    There is a nest in my front yard and I witnessed the same scenario . Now finally the tiny birds are out i'am scared that they will be hunt down by the predators as there is a cat in nearby territory.
    Should I leave them on their own or bring them to home until they learn to fly?

      I guess no, once they become independent they will make their pair and build a new nest.

    Hey bro please help me. The 4 baby ashy prinia's baby bird which are in my garden are of 3 days old and they are looking very very weak and when I approach near them they continuously start to open their mouth should I feed them please help me they are looking very weak and opening mouth continuously when I go near them please help me

    • @gkdiscovery
      @gkdiscovery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No not at all please! Brother you don't need to do anything for them, mother bird will take care of them and only she knows better what to feed them and how many times a day. If you ever try to feed or even she saw you near the nest she will leave the babies...so please do not even go near the nest.
      Regarding weak health or small size, have you noticed the size of eggs, they are hardly a size of playing marbles (kancha) thats why they are small but not at all weak. Just wait and watch they will be flying within 10 days...but watch from distance :)
      They are very smart and strong bird please don't underestimate their power, Thank you.

    Hello bro there is an nest of this bird in the tomato plant which is in my House's garden. There are 4 eggs in this, But today I was watering tomato and some water fell onto the nest and on eggs. Are eggs safe please tell me.

    • @gkdiscovery
      @gkdiscovery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think if it's some water less in quantity as you mentioned then I think it won't be a problem, but please be careful next time. I can understand it was unitentional...Bcoz ashy prinia bird make their nest in low height bushes that too very fragile so sometimes it's unavoidable. If such things happen s in future you can try to absorb excess water from Cotton from eggs without picking them when the bird is away.

      What will happen to the eggs as it did not come? How can I care if bird will not come? I think due to disturbance it left the nest permanently.😢

    • @gkdiscovery
      @gkdiscovery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dalipkumar1648 Oh okay, yes may be she left due to the disturbance but we can't deny the other possibilities. If you are 200% sure about bird will not return, you may try putting eggs in an incubator, but it requires lot of patience and experience like knowing about temparature control, moisture and rotating the eggs on proper intervals.

    I brought Ashya Prinia at home thinking she will be eaten by cats or other animals
    But it didn't even survived a single day
    It was all my fault
    Now I just can't stop thinking about it
    I took his life 😭

    • @gkdiscovery
      @gkdiscovery  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to the Ashy Prinia. It's clear you cared deeply about its well-being. Nature can be unpredictable, and these experiences can be tough. I hope you find comfort in knowing that you provided a safe space for the bird to nest and thrive, even if for a short while. Take care.
