It is very interesting to see these because although they have all changed, I was able to recognise all of the modern locations from their old pictures. Thank you for uploading this!
I remember the pitch and putt by the side of where the Amphitheatre is now, my first hole in one happy days. Went to the football by the big car park I believe Trevor Senior our top striker was the manager back in the day.😢😊❤
Thanks for the video, I remember swanage some 55 years ago, the appartement block next to the swanage yacht club is in the place of a grand hotel , at that time a place for the rich.
I have checked out the calendar that contains the photos and there are no dates. Judging by the women' dresses I would guess that that photos were taken between 1900 and 1920.
Thank you for your kind observations. My grandson will be pleased to see them too. We love living in Swanage.
I play at the Isle of Purbeck - I am still waiting for my first hole in one. Pleased to hear you happy memories.
What a lovely video, if I didnt know Swanage already I would definately make a trip to have a look! Thankyou for posting.

@sonofecthelion We enjoyed finding the locations and filming them. History is all around us. Thank yo for your comments.
What years where the calendar photos taken? Late 1800s early 1900s? It's been a while since I was last in swanage about 15 years ago
