the nice thing about classes are, being the best person at the class is nothing to be proud of, so most of the time, the more skilled are willing to help
Its great to see you on the ice. Your looking very great! If you want some tips on stopping then I have found that having my feet uneven and not together, it is a lot easier and gets you that feeling of stopping the right way immediately. Also, putting more pressure on your toes can't help too. My last tip is that when you stop, its a good thing to not have your ankles too perpendicular and to make sure your not on your edges too much or else you might wipeout. Your doing great! Keep up the great work!
I can tell u right now, thats a good class. I just went to one locally here in Mass and there was like 50 people in the class. I spent 98% of the time standing around waiting for my turn. You had a much smaller class and got some solid one on one time with instructors. I wish my class was that small.
When I first learned to skate my tip for stopping would be to be on your toes, just what helped me, it might not translate as well to you but I felt when I was on my toes I could stop easier.
You were doing nice When I joined my first team I had to get helped out a lot to so don’t feel bad that the you didn’t know what to do because I didn’t either
