AND.... any arrearage becomes an asset of the dead spouses estate. So technically, he will STILL owe this money, even if she dies. In a practical sense, if he goes to court and gets withholdings stopped, unless she has family that can gain custody of the child, the arrearage will probably just..... be forgotten about because there is no one to pursue it. but technically it will still be owed.

I once rescued a kid who was being abused by his uncle age 12. I did everything I could to help. Later he married a girl. She was abusive and eventually cps stepped in and wouldn't allow her near the kids. At one they were both in the car and she started acting up. I tried to leave her on the side of the road. I will stalk my brother until he tells me what's wrong if I see him looking even remotely sad. He could have just woken up from a coma and I'm like "What's wrong, why's your face so frowny, who HuRt YoU!?" Don't tell me other women family members don't do that shite, too.
