Great organization of the colors, turned out really nice in the end and I love that you were able to downsize from 3 palettes to 1, that must feel so amazing!
Depotting is just so satisfying. Its really nice how all the shades fit perfectly your new palette. I recently depotted my first plastic eyeshadow palette. Some mattes broke, but it went smoother than expected. I agree with your shimmer vs mattes rainbow theory. Exept for some indie shadows.
It is! And I might’ve done some obsessive calculations before getting the palette haha. I’m a little scared to depot plastic palettes; that’s why I did these ones first. I’m glad your process went okay! And indie brands are really filling in the gaps that mainstream ones miss.
@@mymakeupnonsense thats why I ony did cardoboard palettes before. And yes, I depotted once four essence palettes and meticulously planned out the magnetic palette and they fit so snug and perfectly. Now I don't want to declutter any of the shades because it is so satisfying to look at xD
@@franzi8953 HAH! I feel the same way. I don’t care if I have both a black matte and a black matte with sparkles which don’t even show up in use thus making them the same essential color, if I take one out there will be an awkward empty space!
I read a comment say that if you place a cardboard palette on top of a damp towel for an hour they just pop right out. Not sure if it works with all cardboard palettes, but worth trying out?
I guess I’ve repressed so many shades in my time I didn’t even think about being scared😅 especially for shimmers. But I’m not sure! I haven’t used them on my eyes yet 🤞🏻
Anna, this was so soothing to watch. Please film whenever you depot, repress, or franken. I love watching it! ❤
I’m so glad you enjoyed! These videos are my favorite to film and watch back tbh

Thank you! I freed up so much space in my drawer!

I love your final arrangement! Reminded me a bit of the Natasha Denona Blue & Purple and Green & Brown palettes.
Thank you! It’s funny because someone else commented that as well! I much prefer the price tag of my shadows, I must say 😂
I love those kinds of videos!!
Me too! I’m glad you enjoyed :)

Hmm that sounds like it could work if you take it out of the outer shell🤔 hood to know!
Nice result! Aren't you afraid to spray shadows with alcohol? Has the formula changed?
