We did it! We finally convinced Emilio to do a Q&A video! 🎊 Would you be interested in a part 2? Leave additional questions down below in the comments! 💕✨
Absolutely love this video!! I’m studying Italian in university and I’m going to be living in Bologna next year for a semester so watching these videos in Italian is so helpful for me! ❤️
Yes do more videos with Emilio! And I actually loved how you mixed the languages. Just answering how you felt was natural for the question made everything feel more authentic.
Siete molto carini. Grazie Emilio per aver partecipato! This was fun, please do it again soon. Definitely 'easier' way of life in USA. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Want to talk about funny differences between cultures? My Wife is Guyanese Indian and I am Puerto Rican. There's a famous song in Indian culture called Pinga Ga Pori which is often played in Guyana and India. This song is soo infectious that most can't help but to get up and dance to it and throughout most of the song the word "Pinga" is used. The spanish translation of the word Pinga is used to describe a particular aspect of the male anatomy...😆
La pronuncia inglese di Emilio è spettacolare!! Emilio, dai a noi Italiani qualche consiglio per sbarazzarci della tipica pronuncia "all'italiana" ahahah
@@bbmcgee33 In all honesty, having a good pronunciation doesn't mean entirely losing one's accent. Emilio's pronounciation is 100% correct and that's what matters! I speak English proficiently but sometimes I totally mess up some words' pronounciation. So kudos to Emilio!
Emilio!!! I love seeing you on the channel! At first glance you two seem an odd pair. It’s certainly not that one is better than the other but… it is obvious you two adore each other. I’m a sap I guess and I love seeing that. I will be honest. I went to Italy kicking and screaming on our first trip. It took an hour and I was trying to figure out how to ‘retire’ there. We finally get to go back this year for a month long visit… I love the USA but my heart is “home” when in Italy. If I get to choose… I will die on the Venezia vaporetto with some vino rosso secco! On a future q&a, I’d like to know what one non food cultural thing you miss from Italy… I miss passeggiata while eating pistacchio gelato.
As an Italian who moved to the US for college and stayed for almost a decade, I must say I much prefer my life in the US than in Italy. I had a full time position at a place that I loved and went to school for before the age of 25 whereas my friends and cousins are still unemployed and going from one part time job to another at the age of 30. This type of work instability creates a lot of unemployment which further hurts the economy of Italy.
The wet hair thing made me laugh😂 it’s the same way in Spain and last year my roommate from Italy always commented about me not blow drying my hair haha. Loved the video! :)
I'm half French, half Italian and my Italian mum has forced me to blow dry my hair before bed my entire childhood and now that I'm an adult, the French side of myself has won, 🤣🤣!
@@sofiesworld you guys found your rhythm and it was great to watch. I think Emilio could be convinced. What would he like to share with us (in Italian)?
I love this! I would be the same as Emilio - uncomfortable! But this is great! I love seeing you both together & you’re so cute with each other. Part 2!! Yes!!
Cute video! Leo IS very cat like! We miss your Italian travel videos! When COVID is over! 🤞🏻 MY question is, is there any American food that he believes is BETTER here than in Italy? Or what food is here that he likes that he can’t get there? I can’t imagine any better food than Italy!
Thanks for watching! Believe me, I miss my Italian travel videos too.... Not much I can do about that now unfortunately, but hopefully soon! Great question. Will save for later 💕
Hello...recently found your channel..We are moving to Italy in 7 months to the Lazio area...any tips for learning the language, I have had a few online lessons but don't ever feel I will be good enough to hold a conversation. Hope you recover soon x
Christmas trees in November? Wow 😂 my family only ever bought one about a week max before Christmas Eve, because real trees dry out. But our cats loved sitting in it & destroying it when they were kittens, so we haven't been getting a pine tree for over 10 years by now. Also, Emilio is so Italian, I love it :D my Italian professors are all from the north and have lived in Austria for decades, quindi sono tutti diventati più o meno austriaci, tranne magari il loro accento italiano quando parlano il tedesco xD
I love your videos and I really enjoyed watching this one and learning more about you two! You are soo cute! I can really relate to a lot of this as we have somewhat similar stories. The wet hair had me dying but yet I now too dry my hair instead of letting it air dry. I also think it has to do with the fact that in the fall/winter Italian homes are not heated like they are at least where I'm from on the east coast of America. So our home (in Italy) is cold and my wet hair bothers me during these two seasons lol! Glad to see that Emilio is liking America! I'm soo curious how my fiance would do if we ever moved to America. I would be curious to see what you guys would/would like to cook to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve/Christmas! What coffee do you guys like to drink at home? I have seen your coffee but what brand of coffee are you using? (coming from a coffee/caffe lover.)
Great video thank you. The wet hair thing / I think it is a European thing, because in Denmark it is the same. You do not go out or in bed with wet hair. And thx to instagram for the great questions
I definitely embrace my Mexican heritage - i'm a very proud Latina! My channel was built on my life in Italy and a strong emphasis on my journey learning Italian and living in the country, so that's a majority of the content I produce. I'm happy to go more in depth on this, however I don't speak Spanish like I do Italian. Open to video suggestions! xx
Yeah the whole work culture in the USA is not great. I hear in Europe it's way more laid back. In the USA it's live to work and in Italy it's work to live. (side note: Sofie looks more Italian than Emilio) I'm sure the food is better in Italy, I mean the quality of the foods there aside from just the cooking itself. I'm ready to move out of the USA.
Guys dont you get any holidays in us? I dont agree what you said about to many bank holiday you passing a wrong message about italians seems like they dont like to work or even worse they are lazy. Which is not like that. Your husband come from Calabria he moved to roma to get a job because in calabria they havent got any job
there is no company who give 1 month of holidays in august in Italy, a part some pubblic state parassite like the ones in Calabria. By the way, working more is not a good sign of an advanced country, the contrary actually. And the Usa is everything except an advanced country, for many, many reason.
