When you see this parade you see super fit well drilled soldiers. When you look at many fighting in the Ukraine you see poor quality ill equipped and disciplined 3rd raters. I suspect as national service is used that the dross goes to fight the better quality soldiers are kept for parade duty. To get soldiers to this standard of drill takes several months.
The soldiers in parade may not be better than those fighting in UA. In Russian army, marching is more important than combat skills because the latter cannot be demonstrated.

When you see this parade you see super fit well drilled soldiers. When you look at many fighting in the Ukraine you see poor quality ill equipped and disciplined 3rd raters. I suspect as national service is used that the dross goes to fight the better quality soldiers are kept for parade duty. To get soldiers to this standard of drill takes several months.
You don't see russians in Ukraine, no phones all you see is Ukrainian freedom fighters from republics on donetsk and lugansk
