With this motorcycle it showed the world that it can build a well engineered, reliable and exciting product. The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 was also a big step up for the Indian motorcycle segment as many bikers could finally realise their dream of owning a mid-displacement twin-cylinder bike as the Interceptor 650 was and remains the most affordable bike of its kind in India. And it has received a much awaited update, so here is our review video listing down the aspects that we liked and disliked about the new interceptor 650.

Why would someone who wants modern features will buy a retro classic?? I bought an Interceptor because of its retro looks.. would have bought a ktm if i wanted modern features. Trust me guys if you put arnd 50k extra on this bike for after market accessories.. this bike is too good… amazing bike…
According to you what are those after market additions? Can you list them down?

Bro these guys need a USD forks in interceptor 😂😂😂😂. And they are reviewing a motorcycle 😅
If you want better front end feel with the suspension, change the fork oil to 15W and you will have a solid feel.
More upgades would be YSS front and rear suspension upgrades (if you have the money for it) and an upgrade to the Vredestein tyres featured on the Continental GT. The tyres can be upgraded directly from RE.
You don't need to upgade to adjustable levers as the current version already has it equipped from the factory.

I bought an orange crush interceptor 2 months ago, because I prefer the silver rims.
I agree stock seat was dismal but for $250 aus I got a genuine premium touring seat, much better, problem solved, got about $1000 in parts coming, like pipes, bars, levers & mirrors and I'm all set for so much less than a watery triumph!
I love wire wheels have used en for 43 years, are you young blokes unable to change or patch a tube? As for those so called conversion kits, wtf?

great feeling bike once you swing the leg over on move on road, managed to get me confused when i was going for duke 390. its been a week but this bike left such a good impression that my straight to duke approach went out of window. and now cant do it without test riding new duke 390(long time crush) which was the first choice otherwise. duke to abhi chlaya hi nahi so yet to know what it acually is, but this bike interceptor 650 is no joke

Navigation unit, USD forks, digital instrument cluster and what not 😂.. lets make this bike as ugly as possible 😅. It's already looking ugly with these updates. What's the point of owning a retro bike if it doesn't have the characters of a retro bike? There is a huge difference between retro and modern classic motorcycles. Please spare this motorcycle.
