This game gets ridiculously difficult near the end. The latter chapters serve to aggravate players. Thank you for the walkthrough. I would have never finished without it. Even with the help, there were some extremely frustrating levels.
The checkpoints / resets are sooooo generous in this game. Even with the controls being a little clunky, it’s more than fair with the very frequent checkpoints. You lose literally seconds of progress when you fail. Not sure what the fuss is about. The very last jump was weird because I was able to time the jumps in a way that I could run into the last wall right side up and didn’t realize it was a wall. Nothing else in the game required you to awkwardly “fall” into a passage rather than just running or jumping into it, so I found it very unclear what the goal was. Executing the puzzles throughout was pretty simple once you knew what you were trying to do, and other than the last jump it’s usually pretty clear what the goal is, just a matter of navigating the clunky controls to make it happen. It’s not a precision platformer though, so I wouldn’t expect crisp, Celeste-like controls.

This video has a jumpcut right in the middle of a tricky bit that requires precise timing of jumping in between electrical components switching on and off. So the timing can't be trusted and once you notice the cut, you have to go to another video to see that section performed with the full electrical timing. So, if you want to cut out a bunch of deaths for expediency, then do the cut before the timed sequence, not in the middle of it. =)

The first block is higher so it rises slightly faster than the second. You have to time it just right so that the first hits the top, but the second doesn't. Hope this helps!
Does anybody here remember the 1991 game Another World? This really reminds me of it. Another world was the first platformer that I played in which you had to think instead of fight. It took me ages before I realised that I couldn't fight the first boss by kicking it, I just had to run away and set up a trap. Graphical style was also 'somewhat' similar.
@@diegobox I don't know why I thought about it but the combination of graphics and puzzling grabbed me. Before that you already had Karateka (1984) that used rotoscoping but that was a fighting game, just like Prince of Persia (1989).
Chapter 34 was very annoying to me because I don’t know the science of magnetism and how I could have known that's what would happen if I did that. So thank you for that. So many of these chapers have made me hate this game tbh
I remember my dad showing this game to me in 2013, at first it was boring as fuck ...but soon the game style grew on me and later i came to love little nightmares franchise, i guess i like horror puzzle games of this genre 😅

My friend and i completed this game.. Some levels he scored and some i was on top.. But at the end it needed a combined brain draining effort from both of us to see it through to the end.. Loved Limbo❤❤😘😘😍😍
At 29:00 no matter how hard I swing, I can’t build the momentum required and always fall to my death. Maybe because I’m playing on an iPad? It happens whether I use my finger or a stylus. Incredibly frustrating.
