Cimoooooooo's extended explanations are made infinitely better when it's a mirror match and he's explaining the deck that was just explained... but more verbose.
the way Alex managed to torture MBT even during his last moments before dying is PURE VILLAIN JUICE, fk being a protagonist, the guy's a natural-born evil
Funnily enough protagonist =/= good or hero but rather the character you follow in the story while the antagonist is the character that antagonizes them. So a protagonist can in fact be evil it is just not many people like those kind of stories.
And it was easily the best moment of the episode so its well worth it. Also protagonist doesn't mean good guy necessarily. Just that he is the lead guy.
1:50 "Dark Master Zorc" is actually based off of the final boss in a D&D-esque game Yami Bakura ran during his first appearance in the manga. There currently is no card that represents the Zorc from the World of Memories.
Yes, the Zorc in manga is actually from a board game with dice, hence explained with his ability is dice-based, his power is small compare to Ancient Egypt Zorc, who more powerful than Exodia.
Excuse me. This Zorc is not the same Zorc as Season 5 of DM. It is the final antagonist of Season 0 when Yami Yugi faced off Yami Bakura in a table top RPG game (Where Zorc was his stand-in and Yugi's friends were his stand-in). The appearance of Zorc is based off that one. The RItual Spell is based off of the scene where the mysterious cloaked stranger reveals himself to be the dark lord they are supposed to face. The whole dice roll mechanic is also a homage to the table RPG thing.
in duel links when bakura attacks with this card he uses attack names that zorc necrophades from season 5 used, so there 100% is an official correlation
@@DaemonRayge Eh, if Yugi's monsters are all representatives of the past friends he had, it makes sense Zorc would be the same. Besides Zorc has never been printed and neither has Dark Magician Mahad. So as far as I'm concerned, they're the same.
