I’ve been an online college student since August. I’m currently taking 5 classes online and just need organization tips building a study schedule and time blocking. I need time for my school work, workout time, cleaning house, and still making time for those I love.
I'm a freshman and I also was a freshman last year, I repeated because I missed so much school because of my depression and social anxiety. There's 1 thousands students in our school that's one floor and it gets overwhelming. I usually get panic attacks and I feel like crying, I missed 68 days of school and got straight F's for my last report card from my first freshman year. I'm not a bad kid and I don't disrespect people, I can do school work but the thing is that I don't like to be around people so I miss school. I'm still struggling with it, this year I've gone like 4/14 of the days since school started but I'm looking at online colleges so I can tell myself to keep going and I'll be okay during college. I can't really fix this since it's not something I've developed, I've always been isolated and shy since I was born. I like to be in quiet places since it makes me feel comfortable. That's why I'm looking if going to an online college is a good choice.

I have gotten help for I though and I now know some ways to cope with it! I definitely suggest that you look into online classes, so that you can still succeed! kpop trash hi! I was the EXACT same way in high school, I barely graduated because of all of my missed days. My anxiety made it so hard to be in school. Luckily I made it through, my mom suggested I tried a campus college so I did it for one term and absolutely hated it, I always knew I wanted to do classes online because I just do better away from a cluttered environment. Now I’m taking classes online and I love it! Plus I save money.

Dude, same. I failed 8th grade and homeschooled myself to get my GED.....20 years later I'm just now enrolling in college and I have horrible anxiety about even taking math in a classroom because everyone says they dont do well at the math online😥
Audrey Hart I’ve dealt with the same things. I’m just starting back up myself. I am very strong in Math. I would suggest the website Chegg. They have text book solutions that walk you through problems step by step. They also have online tutors on the website that you can use if you need more help. Another thing is, because I completely understand what you’re going through feel free to reach out to me. We can Skype if you’re having trouble in math! You totally GOT THIS!!

Thanks! I have been taking online class during the Covid-19 Quarantine, in a home environment in which everyone is home and disrespectfully ignore my school needs and dealing with constant over the top distractions. It's TRUE about the bedroom!
Omg that happened to me I bought a cheaper edition textbook and then my prof alwaysss liked referring to it during class and I had to like figure out which pages are the same stuff as the newer edition it was just way too much work to figure out when your in class. 😂 unless it’s like math or whatever cause you can get basic math questions to practice most profs don’t even assign actual textbook hw.

I was able to balance two classes online (Spanish 101, and Humanities), now my other two on campus classes are online (Biology with Lab, and Anthropology), and I'm now stuck with basically self learning all four classes... instead of two... =(
