"Roundtable Rival" - Lindsey Stirling - VOENA cover with Drumdala and Matt Bissonette

VOENA’s mission is “Uniting the World with Children’s Voices.”
In support of National Children’s Day in the US, VOENA has recorded and released an inspirational video featuring the extraordinarily talented children of the choir, mind-blowing drummer Richard Sherwood, and renowned bassist Matt Bissonette.
The song is an homage to Lindsey Stirling’s “Roundtable Rival” with a special arrangement and lyrics written by Annabelle Marie (Choir Director of VOENA). In addition to being the Choir Director, Annabelle Marie is an accomplished violinist and pianist. Annabelle wrote lyrics to go with the lively violin arrangement. Then added percussion with the Bodhran and a guitar accompaniment. Richard Sherwood has worked with VOENA multiple times and added his own drumming to the piece on his dramatic Drumdala instrument. Finally, Matt Bissonette (bass player for Elton John, Aerosmith,REO Speedwagon, and many others) added a special bass line to the piece.
The video was shot entirely in 4k at the picturesque waterfront in Benicia, California. The colorful costumes, the beautiful waterfront, and the passionate singing of the children enhance the drama and excitement of the well-sculpted music piece. The end result is a beautiful music video with excitement and drama that builds until you feel like you could almost take flight and leaves the viewer with a feeling of exhilaration and joy.
