I want to connect s7 200 CPU 226 cn plc with smart 700 IE v3 hmi rs 485 protocol so could you just follow your video or another parameter use? rs 485 connection pin no. 3 to 3, pin no. 8 to 8, pin no. 5 to 5 this is ok ? Please suggest me.

Hello sir, First you can turn off power of you HMI and turn ON gain, while it rebooting you can wait abit then you will see there are are 3 option 1.Transfer 2.Start 3.Control panel Please choose option3(Control Panel) then go to Ethernet then you can change the IP address that you want. Thanks!

Yes you HMI smart 700 IE V3 can use both RS-485 port and Ethernet port, so you choose that you want.
