Pura Smart Diffuser Honest Review - Not worth it!

- In this video I unbox and review the Pura smart device and fragrance diffuser.
This very popular device offers some really cool features and amazing fragrance options, but... is it worth it? Unfortunately, based on our personal experience, I don't think we can recommend it.

Also forgot to mention that because you add 2 different fragrances to the device, It ends up being a mixed up scent of both which is not a great combination. You can choose which one to diffuse, but you will still faintly smell the other one. This would probably work if you have two of the same fragrances. Hope that helps!

Yeah I have a couple schedules that start 5 minutes after the other(the shortest you can do) and have only ever smelt one
Thank you for the honest review I was about to order but I decided to check some reviews on TH-cam first and you were the first video I came across and certain smells Of candles air fresheners or perfumes give me headaches so once I heard your wife was getting bad headaches I knew this wasn’t a great choice for me thank you
Agree! Have 3 - set to 8 and they do not throw scent well at all. And will be roughly $80 a month in refills. Electric wax melt warmers on a smart plug are so strong and maybe $12 a month.
I have two and I like them. I keep the intensity down to 1 and only schedule it to come on sporadically so I can maximize the scent. I have not had any issues with the other scent coming through. Works fine, although fragrances are a little pricey.
I just programmed the 2 that I ordered last week and they are working fine. One scent I did not care for so I contacted customer service through the app and they are sending me 2 new scents for free. It took me a day to figure out where was the best place to plug them in. I had them on a medium setting and dropped them down to 3 and I’m going to try 2. So far they are working really well and my house smells great.
Thank you for your honest review. I recently purchased the Pure diffuser and noticed I started having headaches. I unplugged it and plugged it again the next day and the headache reappeared. It may be the particular scents that came with it. However, I am returning it.

Our neighbors home smells AMAZING. Every time they open the door I'm smacked with it. I even smell it from the outside when they have the windows open. So one day I just asked what they use and they said it was Pura. I don't know how it could be bad after witnessing it.

I highly recommend this. A quick google search answers any questions you may have so you don’t need to contact support. The smell goes throughout the house and keeps it smelling good

I set mine up last night. I got a pumpkin scent and a coconut scent. Coconut for now and pumpkin towards the middle of the month. I have it on high and the pumpkin scent is still overpowering the coconut even though it's set to coconut. And it's too strong and doesn't smell like any pumpkin candle I've ever used. I thought about ordering some different scents now but this smells pretty bad so I'm not confident in the rest they offer. I've already canceled my subscription but I got the free diffuser so I knew they were gonna charge me and they did.

I purchased the car diffuser. The first thing I noticed was that the scent was artificial smelling. I swapped out the fragrance which they will do for you. I think that fragrance is artificial also. The first one bothered my respiratory system and gave me a headache. The second one I was supposed to find myself itching. I only wish I had read the reviews first. I love the idea of the diffuser but I would rather ad my own scents.
Great video, I was about to buy one but you saved my money. Is there any fragrance diffuser that you recommend for a small bedroom ?

What essential oil diffuser to you recommend that is NOT an ultrasonic humidifier? These are terrible for humid environments.
I agreed! Also they charged my credit card on Nov 3 today is the 12 I’m still waiting for the fragrance.. they do this every month! I have to contact the email etc … Bs ! the subscription sucks ! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY..
Agreed. I hate my Pura. It is wonky and I have spent almost 2 hours troubleshooting. Fragrance is not worth this much work. Good luck with reaching customer support. I can only email them. I want to return it. Stopped working after 3 months. The fragrances are nice but the device itself is garbage. Don't bother. I will never get those two hours back.
What a bummer my device came in the mail today. I’m just seeing the reviews. I’m bummed out that you can’t use the device outside of going online?! That’s a little too much big brother for me.
Of course you can use it. That’s only if you want to program it from your phone. It has an on/ off button you can use.
I love the scent variety, but not the mandatory 6 month subscription price of each fragrance.
I also can't add a serving diffuser ti my phone to control the scents.
Have you done a review of aera? I agree pura isn't all it's cracked up to be.
I haven't - have you tried it? I think after trying the Pura we were pretty disappointed so we are staying away from all of those plug-in type diffusers.
What do you use?
I got it yesterday and it was great until it didn’t work today. It was easy to connect but I’ve tried everything that support center offers to fix it because I smell nothing but it says it’s not diffusing any scent at all. I was excited to come home to smell my home after a stressful day and there’s not even a chat service to reassure me just email.
They keep screwing up our order and there is no customer service to straighten it out. Really frustrating. App doesn't work all the time either. Now I see their website is no longer up. Save your money.

They're getting paid to promote it so of course they'll say how great it is.
Can someone please tell me where the damned reset button is? I’m setting this up for someone who’s convinced she’s got to have it, and I’m supposed to hrlp her figure it out. Strikes me as ridiculous, an account for a glorified air wick? It smells awful to me, and I just want it out of my home. The light doesn’t come on and I can’t fund the reset button.

no. a diffuser is what it is. Pura is just one of the many companies that makes different types of diffusers
DO NOT use! They over charged my card five times! and there is no customer support or live chat.... terrible customer service.
I purchased two of them over a year ago. I do not have a very sensitive nose so I tend to buy the stronger sense. I think I have tried every single cent that is strong that they have and I still do not smell anything. I cannot return it as it's been well over a year however even in the bathroom in a small confined space I don't smell anything. It was a total waste of money Do not buy. And it's a shame because I really been looking for a good car diffuser as well but I will not buy their products anymore. Very disappointing.
I have my pura in my closet, which is not overly large. I barely smell it. Absolutely not worth the cost. I much prefer my Aromatech diffuser. It's more expensive. But at least it scents my home. Pura seems to be a total waste of money.
I have one and I don’t like it the smell doesn’t last that long and they cost to much. The night light is nice. Won’t purchase any more fragrance.
$16 each is way over priced. I refill mine with essentials oils and saved a lot of money.

You cant use essential oil diffuser with pets... thats the main draw for this brand.
I received one as a gift.
It’s the opposite with me I don’t like the “smart device” operation and certainly won’t have a company snooping their “Nose” in my home and privacy by sharing my personal information…
So it went in the trash !
It doesn’t really affect me but I feel sorry for the money spent on a crappy company. -
