Boss making charges play very vital role while purchasing gold. It varies from design to design 410 to 650 rupees per gram. In making charges only jewellers cheat customers you would have given more clarity on that.
Jewellers always cheat on making charges and polishing. They think they will take the gold in their graves when they die. Lol nothing goes with you only your good deeds.

I went to the jewelry shop today.
Mera do gold rings h. Both r 22K hallmarked. So I told them to melt the two and make me one ring.
They immediately said, "agar aapko hallmarked Chahiye toh rates se 1000 rupees extra lagega"
So I asked them ki Mera toh Dono rings hi hallmarked h. Agar usko aap melt karenge aur new banayenge toh wo rings toh 24K ki banjaigi. Usme aap 8.4% Kuch aur metal add Karke 22k banadijiyea.
They said, "hallmarked pieces Ka dam zada hota h sir"
I even asked them. Ki hallmark wala center kya 1000 charge leta h per piece Ka? They said Nahi.
Toh phir mere hi gold aap mujhe hi 1000 rupees extra m q bech rahe h?
Toh wo admi chup Kar Gaya...
Means if I don't pay 1000 extra they will not give me my full worth of gold. They will steal some. Phir Mera hi gold mujhe pane k liyea 1000 extra dena parega.

I purchased a gold haar which has a stamp of KDM 916
THE JEWELLER SAID ITS SOLID 22K. I ASKED HIM TO CALCULATE THE GOLD PURE IN THIS
THE WEIGHT WAS 113grams x0.85 equal 96.1gram (24ct)
96.1grams X 31.10grams equal- 3.09 ounces.
This was to work out the trade price.
So I'm abit confused to work out the purity of 24k in 22k jewellery is 113grams X 0.916 equal 103.5grams of pure gold.
This jeweller was calculating as 113x 0.85? He said once we refine any 22k it comes out as 21k.
24k comes out as 23k
22k comes out as 21k
21 as 20k so on. This is only when they get the gold from customers for trading.
Now I want a jeweller to read this and explain what the hell they playing at. Dirty monopoly game.

If 22 karat gold is 91.6% pure means 10gram gold has 9.16 grams purity then why Jewelers gives rate of 22karat on 9.16 grams instead of 24karat rate on 9.16grams of pure gold

@@muddaseraltaftv when we go shop for sell of 22karat jewelary the first weight the jewelry then detect 10% weight from the actual weight due to 22krat My saying is that the remaining weight of gold is pure one 24karat then why the jewelry apply the rate of 22krat gold on remaining weight why not 24karat rate
Example 10grm 22karat jewelry After 10%deduction remaining wt. is 9gram which is pure gold . Now if pure gold is 7500per gram and 6500 per gram
the jeweler value as below
9x6500=58500
and why not
9*7500=67500
Further to simplify as when we go to sell 22k gold the buyer cut 10% weight and on remaining weight he gives rate of 22k beside after cuting 10 % weight the remaining gold is 24k so why not buyer gives rate of 24k on remaing weight when we sell jewellery having no stone
