O god first thing that I noticed on that fine tft display was the outside temperature of 26 Celsius - we very seldom get these temperatures here in the U.K. I am so envious - nothing more enjoyable than riding a quality scooter in the warm sunshine - with regards to the bmw c400gt it is a very intuitive scooter and I would definitely consider ownership - thanks for the review 👌
Nice review man:) if the bike would be a little faster i would get it. I saw you say in the comments that the Yamaha xmax 300 is faster than this, thats pretty bad towards bmw to make a 350 that is slower than a 300. I think i will either get the Yamaha Xmax 300 or the Suzuki Burgman 400. Godbless man🙏

I'm not sure yet... Wouldn't mind something that can carry a bit more under the seat. I suppose I could always get a top box for the C400? But that would add to the cost of an already expensive scooter... Any recommendations for a good 400 - 500cc scooter?
@@markrichards631 Hi Mark, from what I've test ridden so far, I would definitely take the Yamaha XMAX 300. @@markrichards631 hi, if you looking for a nice smooth scooter, test only once the Honda Forza 300! Is it an highly quality Scooter with more space and compartments, with full LED lights and an elektric wind shield. Test it and you'll be sure! The Yamaha Xmax 300 isn't very high quality.

@@BenalRida only if you didn’t get the first batch. Had all sorts of issues with stalling and seat latches. All the problems have been ironed out. I gave up my xmax 300 for it and so far the quality and fit and finish is perfect. The main thing that attracted me to it was the warranty and service package. Otherwise I would have stayed with the xmax or got a new one as mine was just about out of warranty. In Thailand they have 5 year warranty on Yamaha so BMW has to match them to sell any. It’s a very competitive scooter market.

Please tell the people the cost of ownership that is extremely high. I paid 1600€ in Total to have it maintained by an official dealer for the last 20000km. This one is not produced by kymco but by a Chinese manufacturer Loncin. The quality is poor I already had many things that Had to be replaced. For example: the seat, rear wheel bearing, 12volt battery and the keyless Ride key.
Can you write more about it please? I’m think about getting this scooter but maintenance cost put me off. I love the look however, space for legs and safety features. 20000km means you did I guess 3 services?
I wouldn’t have bought one but BMW has 5 year warranty and 5 year service included for the last models. The scooter is being discontinued as we speak because they won’t meet Euro 5.
Hallo ich bin Henry aus Berlin. Ich habe mich gefragt wann testet Moto Fuzzi mal die BMW C 400 GT? Nun stelle ich fest, das Du sie ja getestet hast als Benalrider in englischer Sprache. Ich kann ein wenig englisch, nur es sind über 55 Jahre her und habe die technischen Worte nicht verstanden. Ich finde Deine Tests gut und Furtztrocken und ehrlich. Das finde ich sehr gut, weil Du das sagst was Dir auffällt, was Du gut findest oder eben nicht so gut. Dafür ein großes Dankeschön und mach weiter so, und lasse Dich von diesen Nörglern nicht unterkriegen. Ich habe mir jetzt die BMW C 400 GT gekauft und mich würde Deine Meinung interessieren zu diesem Motorroller. Dieses Video mit deutschen Untertitel oder Du schreibst mir einfach. Als ich damals diesen Roller getestet hatte, gab es MotoFuzzi noch gar nicht :) Ich finde ein sehr schöner Roller mit sehr guten Fahrleistungen, mit sehr schönem Display (allerdings mit hohem Aufpreis) und relativ wenig Stauraum unter dem Sitz. Und der Preis war leider auch nicht so toll. An mehr kann ich´mich leider nicht mehr erinnern. Sofern der BMW-Händler erlaubt, werde ich nochmal testen. Leider gehört dieser Händler im Moment nicht zu den besonders "freundlichen " Händlern :) WIe bist du mit deinem Geschoss zufrieden? Schöne Grüße nach Berlin!

Ich weiß wirklich nicht, was die "echten" Motorradfahrer gegen Roller haben?!? Das scheint so ein Macho-Gehabe zu sein. Gott sei Dank, werden die Roller-Fahrer in Spanien nicht so diskriminiert wie in Deutschland. Das ist ja furchtbar. Was ist denn bitte so schlimm an einem Roller?!!??!
@@BenalRida Es ist gar nichts schlimm an einem Roller. Mein bester Kumpel fährt Roller und ich hatte auch sehr viel Spaß 3 Jahre mit dem 125er Roller und davor den 50 ccm Rollern. Sehr Praktisch sind sie ja auch, wenn ich einkaufen musste! Ich diskriminiere auch keine Rollerfahrer und grüße sogar welche unterwegs, was andere Motorradfahrer nicht tun! Es gibt ja auch GS Fahrer die keine anderen sondern nur GS Motorradfahrer grüßen, oder auch Harley Fahrer nur unter sich. Das finde ich auch blödsinnig! Es ist auch kein Machogehabe der Motorradfahrer. Es ist ganz einfach, daß Motorrad fahren etwas anderes ist als Roller zu fahren, das ist schon alles! Wie schrieb Heideschäfi Kalle oben?? Does it have a lot more power compared to a Honda Forza 300? I am going to replace my Kymco Downtown 125 for a stronger short, because my daily commute is to much on the highways. But I'm afraid a 300cc will so be a bit too slow for that. Price wise I would also love the Kymco AK550, which is a beast, but I heard a lot of complaints about bad quality of the AK550... Any recommendations?

I test rode the Honda Forza 300 ( th-cam.com/video/PUgqd4Pf0FA/w-d-xo.html ) and personally it felt like it was lacking power and when I compared it to my 125cc scooter, there wasn't that much difference. I don't know why it felt like that. I tried the Yamaha XMAX300 ( th-cam.com/video/bVYh8d5jbnc/w-d-xo.html ) and I felt the power was more than sufficient, also for highway rides. Storage space is superior on this one. If you don't mind much about storage and you want to have an premium scooter, I would go for the BMW. My choice would always be the XMAX300.

Hi, oh, that is a difficult question, especially since I didn't compare both of them side by side. I know the XMAX series has limited foot space so from the top of my head I would say BMW, but I am not sure. You should definitely check your dealer for that.
BMWs are totally made in Loncin Chinese factory as well as all parts and motor !!! BMW has their own factory with Chinese workers who assemble BMWs ....motors and everything in made in China 🇨🇳
Hello Uli, if I had to choose between these two and money would not matter, I would get the BMW solely because I like the display better :) Yes, call me crazy. If money would matter, I would get the Kymco because I think it's looks more sleek and stylish and I guess has a bit more power.

Soft front and hard rear is normal at first. After 600 Kms the front starts to bed in and get harder.

I don't know why it felt like that. I tried the Yamaha XMAX300 ( th-cam.com/video/bVYh8d5jbnc/w-d-xo.html ) and I felt the power was more than sufficient, also for highway rides. Storage space is superior on this one. If you don't mind much about storage and you want to have an premium scooter, I would go for the BMW. My choice would always be the XMAX300.

Hi, oh, that is a difficult question, especially since I didn't compare both of them side by side. I know the XMAX series has limited foot space so from the top of my head I would say BMW, but I am not sure. You should definitely check your dealer for that.

BMWs are totally made in Loncin Chinese factory as well as all parts and motor !!! BMW has their own factory with Chinese workers who assemble BMWs ....motors and everything in made in China 🇨🇳

Hello Uli, if I had to choose between these two and money would not matter, I would get the BMW solely because I like the display better :) Yes, call me crazy. If money would matter, I would get the Kymco because I think it's looks more sleek and stylish and I guess has a bit more power.
